Wasn't sure at first... But count us as Big Fans now.
As serious art photographers (and general appreciators of visual art), and in a place with high ceilings and lots of wall space, we were looking for a hanging solution that wouldn't result in a bunch of holes in our walls. We also wanted to be able to easily change out pieces as well as their height and specific locations on the walls. This STAS system is perfect. Installation is best performed by two people, but one person could do it alone. Measure, drill, install - it's really that easy. Afterwards, art hangs securely. The look Is a bit like one would expect to see in a gallery, But, if you've got several pieces and want the flexibility of changing things out easily and without putting more holes in your place, this is an excellent solution.

Works Great If Right Type of Wall
I have used these rails for several years in galleries I have owned and built. I recommend you install them lower than ceiling. They MUST be installed 100% flush to wall or else your art will dangle. They are also not as easy to install as the videos or instructions. Take your time. The Trex screws are a pain they send you a special Trex driver for your drill. They're supposed to be better with a drill than a Phillips but they strip easily and then you have a problem if you want to remove screw. Good old fashioned Phillips would work much better. When installing make sure you get the Trex mounting screws exactly parallel to each other and I mean exact. Use a level. If not exact you'll have trouble putting rail on. Take your time. Once installed properly they work great and hold a lot of weight. No more nails in wall to hang individual pieces. Great system for galleries. I recommend the steel cables rather than the plastic one's: the plastic one's curl and are just a pain, plus you have to replace plastic cables if you do multiple shows per year because the plastic gets compromised by the hooks. Oh they also make a ceiling mounted rail I've used those too. But if your ceiling has moldings they won't work your art will dangle, so instead use these wall mounted and mount rail below the moulding.

Easy to install and looks good
It took 3 times to get this delivered without damage. Long shipping tubes are notorious for getting damaged in transit. But customer service was excellent and reached out to me to make things right. I'm very grateful for their efforts.Instillation was fairly easy. The only issue I had was that the recommended distance from the ceiling to screw holes was not far enough to clear the top plate of the wall. I wound up drilling holes that I'll have to patch. Once the wall anchors were set, the rail snapped right into place. The cords retain their curl from being rolled up for packaging, so I plan on getting weights for the ends to straighten them. I purchased extra cords and hooks with plans to hang around 20 family pictures with this system. Once I adapt my picture frames for hanging, I know they will look great with this system.

Works great
I bought these as part of a gift for a friend who always wanted an easier way to hanger paintings. She loves the hanging system!

Great system but, yes, terrible screws.
I was very pleased to find that the system and the hardware are much smaller than the description and photos led me to believe. The silver castings/rail hooks on the nylon cord could be described as tiny. I am very pleased. The screws: These are a design called "Pozidriv." They look a lot like a Phillips head but they are distinguished by four radial lines on the screw head. (See Wikipedia for a picture.) I first saw them on GM cars years ago; apparently they work better with the power drivers that the production line workers use, but for a consumer product this is a completely idiotic design decision. Few DIYers, even experienced ones, are going to have Pozidriv screwdrivers or power bits. Worse, they may not even recognize the problem. Trying to drive these with Phillips bits, as @mudguy found out, can easily result in the screw head getting destroyed. So, dear readers, plan to buy at least a #2 Pozidrv screwdriver and maybe a couple of power bits if you are going to install this system.Since I own the correct tools to deal with Pozidriv hardware, I only knocked one star off my rating. But I can easily understand @mudguy's single-star rating of the product.
