Buying bed pillows is one of the most frustrating experiences for me and it makes no difference whether I purchase them directly from a local store, or if I should order them on-line. I don’t know whether a pillow works for my personal comfort, unless they are out of the package and I’ve slept on them for at least one or two nights.Within less than a year I have returned several pillows and the few that I could not return are stuffed away in our linen closet. In describing pillow, people could be referring to many different features, and unless they are specific, I confuse one characteristic for another. For that reason I have mistakenly ordered a firm and hard pillow due to a report stating that the pillow was soft. However, in reality they were referring to the softness of the pillow casing.Therefore, I will attempt to be specific regarding the description of all the features and characteristics.As a reference, I am a side sleeper, I rarely sleep on my stomach, and I never sleep on my back.SOFT - this bamboo pillow has a very soft casing and therefore the outer case is very soft against my skin and face. Since there isn’t any zipper, the entire pillow needs washing if dirty. Since I use microfiber sheets and pillowcases on my pillows, I don’t often have to wash my pillows in the washing machine. However they are machine washable with a mild detergent and when in the dryer, (on a low drying cycle), either tennis balls or clean sneakers will help to prevent lumpiness from forming.OVERFILLED - these are ‘overstuffed’ pillows, meaning the filling is right up to the case of the pillow and without any loose material that flops. In addition this includes the corners, as the inner stuffing is taut into the corners of the pillow.LOFTY AND FLUFFY - and by ‘fluffy’ I am referring to a higher than normal loft and since I need the extra height I often toss them in the dryer about every week or two. This helps to refresh the pillows, and it raises the height, and the diameter around the middle measures about 40 inches.PLUSHY - I love the plushness of these pillows, which refers to the amount that I am able to press the pillow for the cushioning of my head. I like a pillow that allows my head to slightly sink down, and without putting pressure on the ear that rests beneath my head, but not enough to smother my nose.SOFT TO MEDIUM HEAD SUPPORT – this last topic is more of a personal interpretation. I consider a light or soft head support is when my head sinks down very low, and almost to the mattress. And to me, the term ‘firm’ refers to keeping my head elevated on the top of the pillow and therefore, I consider the head support between soft and medium. When my head is relaxed on the pillow, the pillow cradles my head and allows it to slightly sink down, but not too low. In addition, when the head support is too soft for me, I have am forced to sleep with my arm tucked under the pillow to raise the height. I do NOT need to keep my arm under this pillow, which provides me with a more comfortable position. Alternatively, this pillow is NOT a firm support, which means that my ear that rests under my head does not hurt from the pressure.In conclusion, this pillow would be suitable for anyone who desires a soft, plushy, and either a soft or medium head support, but NOT suitable for someone who requires a hard and firm head rest.However, for my own personal requirements, this pillow is perfect for me.

When I received the pillows they were rolled up, after unrolling, i noticed they were very disformed i tried to fluff them and reposition some of the inside but I haven't had any luck, I thought in time they would be how they were supposed to be but unfortunately not, so not exactly happy with this purchase

These pillows are amazing! They arrived on time. The packaging was awful, they came bunched up I thought they would never look normal! I was almost ready to send back. If you put these in the dryer for about 30min then they are back to normal shape.

Pillows arrived on time and I allowed them several days to open up. The pillows are lumpy in spots, my wife does not like them but the kids do - so the purchase was not a total waste.Unfortunately I will not buy again.

Not worth it, splurge and get the real thing. They came rolled up so tight that it took a couple weeks for them to be their normal shape. I expected the bamboo properties to help manage heat, but that’s definitely not the case.

Love these pillows I have went through pillows upon pillows never being able to find the right one the right adjustment none of it I heard from a friend the bamboo type pillow was very comfortable and sturdy so I ordered these and I have never had a pillow quite like this one. In fact I willing and probably will go in and order more just to have them on hand they're great and I wouldn't mind giving them out as gifts

I am extremely pleased with this pillow. I'm kind of picky when it comes to pillows, I need support but it can't be too firm. This pillow is fluffy but has that medium yet soft support I wanted. It its not that kind of fluffy that will try to suffocate you, it won't cover my face at all and I sleep in every position!!!

They don’t stay fluffy, in fact the day I got them, I did what the instructions said and by the next morning they were flat. I wish I could get a refund but I don’t know how to send them back, so I am just out all that money.not worth it, buy something else.
