Simple install, looks decent. Great for the price, I guess, but left a little to be desired. There was sticky residue after peeling the sticker off the front, and around all the drill holes. After washing and installing, it looks nice enough from a distance. Definitely a fingerprint magnet, so add it to your list of weekly chores, or ONLY use your phone to change the temperature. I only ordered it because I can't find my nest box which has a back plate that I didn't use at my last house. Now, I'm in an apartment and wanted to leave the holes for the original thermostat, so I can easily swap it out when we eventually move out. This covered the screw holes from the original thermostat perfectly.

This is decent, it simply a circular piece of stainless steel with 4 holes drilled it looks nice installed. I think they could have done a better job in packaging, My plate had a plastic cover but still had some small cosmetic scratches on the covered side. I small thing of bubble wrap probably would have gotten this product a 5 star. Definitely a step up from NEST provided covers but a couple small changes to packaging could make this a really nice upgrade.

Item is okay. Like others have said the picture is nicer than the item received. It isn't cheap but it isn't smooth either. Mine was actually more silver than this gray / silver look. I don't like how the screws set. When you push the face plate back it will bump into the screws and doesn't sit well. I actually loosened up the screws to give more play to get a good fit.

We had a bigger hole after we switched out our old thermostat for the nest thermostat. This was perfect to cover it up!

The product was good, but I ended up not using it because it wouldn't fit in the spot where the thermostat is located. Good quality though.
