Family and I had a murder mystery night for our Christmas get together. The costumer didn’t come with the hat as it was supposed to. So I Dad to order the hat 12/21 stressed hoping I would get it on time. It did I was pleased. Fit & looked great and great quality, great price.

My husband is going on a fishing trip with his friend who refers to him as captain. We ironed on captain plus other letters and he will pull out as a joke on trip to wear. It came out super cute and hat does look to be decent quality. I also ordered a Gilligan type hat that we put his buddies name on to add to the fun.

Honestly, I only bought this because I was going to a Yachtley Crue concert. Boy, am I glad I did, too. I would have been the only one without some type of captain's hat atop their head. As expected, it was a bit thin and flimsy and the printing of the design was done poorly. This hat is perfect for events, parties, concerts and the like. The top, white part was not too rigid, so it didn't really stand up like it's supposed to. It fits an average adult head just fine. It would be too big for a child. Not super comfortable, but definitely tolerable for the duration of a concert. But it looked real sharp from a distance! This is not a serious hat for everyday wear. I feel like it was priced a little high for a party favor hat.

I used this for a Hugh Hefner-style costume. I have a very large 24 1/2 inch circumference head, and this will actually fit on it! For that alone, it get's my praise. Hats that fit on my head are rare.

Ok, didn't expect much for $15 and I wasn't surprised. Pro's: - got it overnight and I was in a rush. Original item kept getting delayed and I had to have something. This hat got the job done. - plastic adjustable band in the back is just like you see on lots of baseball caps: plain plastic with holes in it and the other plastic band has little bumps on it that fit in the holes. It also allows for a HUGE head. My husband adjusted it to the smallest fit without cutting off parts of the band and it's fine. Cons: - Lightweight, cheap fabric for the hat - arrived completely smushed and wrinkled. I had to carefully steam it to make it even sit up properly and ended up "customizing" the crown by cutting a piece of cardboard to fit on the section that says "Captain" to give it enough body that it looked more like an official formal cap instead of a slouch hat. Overall, it fit my needs but I certainly wouldn't expect to use it for anything other than the costumer I ordered it for.
