I know aluminum foil, and I am so tired of chain stores advertising foil as “heavy duty” only to open the box and find something paper thin. Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil is definitely heavy duty. You can feel the difference as soon as you pull a sheet from the roll—it has a substantial thickness and doesn’t feel flimsy. The 125 sq. ft. roll is a good size for home use, and the foil is easy to pull out, tear from the box, and shape around pans or food. It has enough weight to hold its shape and cling around the edges of pans and containers without constantly springing loose or tearing. For baking, I still use a light spray of nonstick cooking spray when needed, just to be sure foods release cleanly. The sturdier foil makes a great pan liner and makes cleanup much easier afterward. Was easy to use, cut clean an easy! I originally bought this to try for my farmstand bakery, where I use foil regularly for baking, covering pans, wrapping, and food prep. After trying it, I’m impressed enough that I’m going to see whether Amazon offers a larger roll for shop use. Considering the thickness, quality, amount on the roll, and how many different jobs I can use it for, I think it is a very good value. Most importantly, this is one of the few foils I’ve bought lately that actually deserves to be called heavy duty! (Photos show my only issue, damaged box). Most helpful thing to know: this foil has a good, substantial feel and holds up well when wrapping and covering food without tearing too easily. I also used it to wrap leftovers and freeze them, and it kept a good seal with no freezer burn. It’s not as thick as “heavy-duty” foil, but definitely stronger than the average everyday option. Food Prep & Cleanup: Lining baking sheets with it makes cleanup quick, and grease doesn’t seep through. I also used it for grilling vegetables, and the foil packets held their shape without tearing or leaking. Value: For the price, you get a generous amount of foil, and the quality is better than I expected. It performs almost like a mid-range brand but at a basic price point. Downsides: It’s not heavy-duty, so I wouldn’t recommend it for very heavy items or high-pressure grilling. For normal household use, though, it’s more than strong enough. Overall: This is a reliable, durable aluminum foil that works well for everyday cooking, baking, and food storage. It’s stronger than most store brands and a solid value for the amount you get. Would I recommend it? Yes—great quality for the price, with consistent strength and a box that actually holds up.

The foil is thick and does not rip easy. Its worth buying Amazon brand. Its just like using Reynolds foil for a cheaper price.

Great for a bbq event that we had. We had to keep foil on the food containers. It felt very durable, and lasted for the whole event.
