The Clematis, which I ordered arrived in wonderful condition, well packed and in moist soil.The plant was bigger than expected, which was a bonus.I have placed it in my greenhouse for a few weeks, until the very cold weather and frosts subside.Then I look forward to planting it out and enjoying watching it's growth and flowering in the years to come.Very good plant nursery.

Lush growth,beautiful plant

I ordered and received two varieties of clematis, the varieties "Freckles" and "Miss Bateman." They both arrived promptly in the same package. "Freckles" was in good condition, if slightly immature in its stage of growth - I would rate it "good." "Miss Bateman" however was much more immature and hadn't even started to produce a root ball. In fact, the plant was protruding loosely out of the plug in which it had been grown and just had some damp compost thrown loosely in around it, the whole thing threatening to come apart. It was only the result of very cautious handling that prevented the stem from breaking away from the immature root system which featured no obvious fine hair roots and was not adhering to the compost at all. We very cautiously planted it and have kept it well watered and so far it looks as though it might survive.

On arrival looked very healthy, not too big but about the size I expected. Bought in October now end December it has grown well in my greenhouse and I have two flowers will plant outside in spring.
