Wonderful, just as I remembered
So thankful to have found this again. I used to drink it years ago, but it slowly started being removed from all of the stores in my area and then I found out that it was no longer being made.I absolutely love coffee, but have a caffeine intolerance and even minute amounts bother me terribly. It has been a journey for me trying to find something that actually resembles something that I would want to drink. I've tried Daisy blend and Teeccino, but neither one of those quite hit the spot that my body craved. This has a very nice mellow yet rich flavor that really satisfies. I think it's a little pricey compared to what it was the last time I bought it, but I'm thinking double the price in 12 years isn't bad. Thankfully no one else in the family will drink this but me, so I think the price is reasonable for 75 servings. If I drink a cup a day this will last me two and a half months and I'm happy with that. This is a small luxury that I'm happy to pay for and I highly recommend this drink!

Postum? Not to me but excellent customer service.
This product tastes nothing like Postum. Looks nothing like Postum. Smells nothing like Postum and mixes nothing like Postum. In my opinon, it shouldn't even have the name Postum. I've been trying to quit drinking coffee and I remembered good ole Postum from 35 years ago, so I ordered it. Even though it is overpriced. I'm so disappointed.I contacted customer service and they were very apologetic and were willing to give me a full refund immediately. It was very important to them that I was fully satisfied with the outcome of this situation. Because of their willingness to be fair, I would gladly do business with them again. And you know, just maybe you might like their Postum. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose because they give excellent customer service.

Overpriced item not eligible for return
I bought the coffee flavor Postum. The 8 oz. jar (227 grams) is about the size of a soda can. I used two level tsp (8 grams) for a small cup that had medium flavor. Using a small whisk, the powder blended okay in hot liquid. Total 227 grams divided by 8 grams per cup yields 37 cups per jar. The label says you get up to 75 cups but that's based on 1 tsp per cup which would have almost NO flavor. At $14.99 per 8 oz jar the yield of 37 cups costs about 40 cents per cup of ersatz coffee. It doesn't have robust flavor so it's a disappointing product that is way overpriced. When I saw the small size jar I wanted to return it unopened but it's not eligible for return. I could not find that "no returns" info anywhere on the Amazon page. Obviously, I missed the fine print.

Good hot drink when you're tired of coffee and tea.
My father introduced me to Postum 80 years ago. The addition of cocoa flavor to Postum gives Postum a good change in flavor while still remaining low in calories. Drinking coffee and tea can become boring after awhile, and cocoa is often high in calories. This cocoa flavored Postum has (per label) 10 calories per serving. Because you would use (per label) one or two teaspoons of the Postum, the number of calories may depend upon the number of teaspoonsful used by the drinker. However, either way the number of calories is low, and the flavor is pleasant.

Lifesaver with an Ulcer!
I. Love. Coffee. But coffee started to fight against me. Postum was my coffee savior!I am going in for several tests the end of February and am on prescription meds for what they believe is an ulcer.I had to stop consuming (cold turkey) coffee on 9 January because I had the worst burning pain in my stomach (as well as the worst pain in my life. It made childbirth and a broken shoulder seem like nothing). I won't get into graphics, but they stated if this was to ever happen again, I was to go to ER. I just wanted to sleep and did so, for 17 hours. After my stomach felt better and my excruciating cold turkey headache went away, I had remembered when I was 18 years old, many years ago, I had a neighbor who introduced me to a drink that had a nice flavor. I could not think of the name. I visited her a lot and drank it with her and even bought some for my house.I looked in the grocery store and found a coffee alternative, and it was tasteless. I searched the internet and found my drink I so enjoyed--Postum! Amazon delivered and I had a cup, and it was just as delicious as I had remembered! I was in heaven!I am unsure if I will ever go back to coffee dueto the incident on 9 January. It scared me that much. I love the taste of Postum. I love that I am sleeping much better at night (despite thinking coffee didn't affect me for over 30 years). And most importantly did I say, I LOVE THE FLAVOR?!?I am ordering another jar. Thank you Postum!

Still worth the money
Love it, very refreshing as a coffee substitute. I wish it was less expensive.

Beware
There was no paper safely seal over the lid of the jar. There was a clear plastic "seal" around the exterior of the jar lid. Traces of the product were visible between the seal and lid (photo included), which made the product appear dirty.I had misgivings about using the Postum after seeing the unprofessional wrapping. After reading reviews here this seems like standard procedure for this company. The Postum tastes ok. To avoid the Postum clumping in boiling water, boil the Postum and the water together while stirring.I one teaspoon per six ounces of water seems best for a similar taste and texture to coffeeThere was no paper safely seal over the lid of the jar.
