Bungee Pupee3-Feet X-Large Leash, Purple/Black

I have a dog that is in the 40-50lb range. She could have gotten the large leash, but she is a puller and takes off with such strength that I followed the manufacturer's advice and went the size up. I took her out around my block, which depending on what's going on can be dicey. (She lunges at squirrels). I normally use a martingale collar, but today I used her anti pull harness instead because I was worried about it "snapping" or jerking her neck. Well she was walking like an angel. I thought it might be due to the harness so I attached the leash to her collar. Again she was walking like and angel with no pulling. Then I walked past my neighbor's house. They have this big black dog and he and my dog do not see eye to eye. I normally walk on the other side of the street, but figured this was the perfect test for the leash. I knew she would lunge when the dog barked at her. I stayed on the sidewalk and calmly walked past the driveway and he barking dog. Of course she lunged, but no jerking motion, no arm ripping out of the socket, nothing... Strange, so I turned her around and made her do it again... no tug, I did it two more times to make sure I was not seeing things and she really did lunge... she did! I felt NOTHING!!!! I highly recommend this leash!!! Yes it is best to train your dog not to pull, but this is a great starting point for any dog owner!

This leash is amazing! This is the second one I have purchased and works like a charm for my 102 pound Great Dane and my 120 pound 9mo. old Bullmastiff puppy. If the puppy decides she wants to try to take off, I just plant my feet and the leash will yank her back to me. Lol, it's been very helpful in training her how to walk loosely on a leash.

Love to use this leash because my girl can stretch some but not go too far. She is very strong (70lb pit bull) so I wouldn't feel comfortable using a retractable leash.

Quite possibly one of the best products i've purchased to help me walk my ginormous dog. I have a 160lb Central Asian Shepherd who at times likes to pull, this leash keeps my shoulder in socket and reduces the impact on my dog's joints too. I couldn't be happier.

The best invention for my pulling dog.

I can't fault this leash on its strength. It is great in that respect; However, if you have a dog that pulls, the dog isn't magically going to stop pulling when you use this leash. All it will do is absorb shock. The sad part is that it's too long. They really need to make an 18 - 20 inch one. A short/traffic leash gives you more control and allows you to keep a dog at your side instead of a few feet ahead of you. I ended up tying THREE knots in mine as I add a coupler to walk two dogs on one leash. Wish I hadn't been so quick to use my $50 Amazon gift card to buy two of these in different colors before trying out one. Like I said, these are strong but way overpriced, and I don't suppose anyone is going to give me another gift card anytime soon :(
