works. needs longer power cord
does what it's supposed to do. wish it came with a longer power cord. the power connection is a bit tight to plug in, so just be aware in case yours is difficult to connect. just keep pushing all the way in. it's better than a loose power connection, but they could have done better with quality control on the banana power plug connection here.

It works
Nothing much here. It does what its supposed to do. I use a 1000ml glass beaker. No issues. Would be nice to come with a few more rods but the price is cheap so no complaints. It can handle some thicker substances.

Perfect for cooling hard boiled eggs
To make hard boiled eggs easy to peel, they need to be quickly cooled right after they come out of the boiling water. To do this efficiently, I created the following kit, which works brilliantly every time. You need a 4 Quart glass bowl [https://www.amazon.com/Pyrex-Prepware-4-Quart-Rimmed-Mixing/dp/B07473FZXQ]. Yes, this is larger than the claimed 3L maximum volume for this stirrer, but it works great in this application. Next, you need some sturdy wire mesh, such as [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C691Q89P]. Take that wire mesh (careful, it has sharp edges), to your local metal fabrication shop which has a plasma cutter. Ask them to cut you out a 7" diameter circle from that mesh (discard the remainder). This circular mesh fits in the bottom of the bowl, above the spinner, holding the eggs and ice above the spinner. So, in the bowl go the spinner, and the 7" diameter circular mesh. When pouring in the ice, hold the mesh in place with one hand. Add enough water so the eggs will be covered. Turn on the spinner (half way works perfectly). Add the hot eggs. Set a timer for 30 minutes. When it's done, the eggs will be ready.
