McCook Knife Set Gold Kitchen Knife Block Set w Built-in Sharpener

My husband LOVES this set! Really pretty! Looks great on the counter and all of the knives are very durable and sharp! Love the extra scissors that came with it. Great knives for the price! Works as well as those other super expensive brands!

Love this knife set! Amazing quality for the price! Sleek and clean looking. Great blade sizes for different cooking tasks. Very sharp blades. And the handles feel weighted and balanced while holding.

I am honestly surprised by how well this knife set has held up. I have been using it for more than two years, and the knives have remained very sharp without noticeably losing their sharpness. The knives are sharp, comfortable to use, and come in different sizes and styles for different kitchen tasks. I also really like that the set includes a built-in self-sharpener, which is very convenient for maintaining the blades. It also comes with two pairs of scissors, which is a nice bonus. The set comes with a beautiful wooden block that keeps everything organized and looks great on my kitchen countertop. It adds a nice decorative touch while keeping the knives easily accessible. After more than two years of regular use, I am very happy with the quality, durability, and overall appearance of this knife set.

I really love this Mc Cook knife set! The gold finish is beautiful and adds an elegant touch to my kitchen. The knives are sharp, sturdy, and comfortable to use. They also look great on my countertop. Very happy with this purchase!

This complete knife set has served me well over the last year. It has all the knives you could need for cooking and preparing meals, and the six serrated steak knives were a perfect complement to my silverware. I really appreciated the bonus, smaller kitchen scissors because I am guilty of cutting food bags, meat packages, and (sometimes) the occasional Amazon package open with whatever I have on hand in the kitchen. With this set, I was able to dedicate the smaller scissors to those tasks and keep the larger scissors exclusively for food. Admittedly, I probably don't cook as much as others, but even with the tasks I have put these knives through, I haven't felt the need to sharpen any yet - I am excited to do so, though, because the built-in sharpener is extremely convenient. The product description claims these knives are stainless, but I had my doubts because the description also calls them "high-carbon." I exclusively hand-washed these as a preventative measure, although my poor scissors are starting to show rust stains where the blades are attached. While my engineering expertise is not in metallurgy (I'm a semiconductor guy), I know that it is difficult to keep blade steel stainless with high carbon content because the high carbon content forms too much chromium carbide, leaving too little chromium for the stainless levels of corrosion resistance. So while I don't doubt the claim of "stainless steel" (which really only requires 10.5% - 12% chromium in the alloy), I am certain these knives lack true stainless levels of corrosion resistance (since the carbon is likely hogging most of the chromium in the form of chromium carbide). This is the same issue D2 steel has, for example. Overall, I am very impressed. This is a very solid budget option for a knife set. I plan to continue using these for the next year or two, and hopefully they will last until I settle into a permanent home and can invest in a more premium set.

Very nice knife set with everything you need in one block. We received it as a wedding gift and have really enjoyed it. It looks great displayed on the counter, the knives are lightweight and easy to handle, and they’re easy to clean. The built-in sharpener is a nice bonus too.

This is very cool. I love it very well. I can tell you from experience. These knives are very very sharp and they last I have a dishwasher, but I just washed them by hand but be very careful when you’re washing them cause I ended up licking my finger with one knife

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely beautiful knife set! I’m really impressed with this knife set. It looks exactly like the pictures. Everything arrived beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. I also really appreciate the bonus scissors that were included with the set. That was such a nice extra! The whole package was thoughtfully put together, and everything about the purchase was simply awesome. The knives are beautiful, the quality is great, and the set looks wonderful in my kitchen. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it! ❤️

Entire set rusted in just a few short weeks. Definitely not stainless steel. Will try to return.

Ni un mes de uso y ya se rallaron todos, malísima calidad por un precio tan alto

These are very chic and nice compliments my white and gold kitchen.

👍🏻

Great value and stay sharp
