Been having pedicures and developed painful ingrown nails. This trimer is almost straight across and opens wide so that the nail grows across. Good quality

Needing something for thick nails these are just perfect. Very sharp works great!

It's difficult to find clippers with a wide enough opening to handle thick nails. This one does it very well. The only drawback might be that it doesn't have enough backbone to make one full cut (the cutting surface is entirely over the nail). In that case I'm still able to do what I need by nibbling.

Definitely the most hardcore clipper I own. It's huge, wide, and works great. I wouldn't count on being able to use it for detail work, but for my hooflike toenails, probably the best I've ever had.
