Review: Fantastic reusable bags that save money and the earth - I have tried to many reusable snack bags and Stasher ones are absolutely my favorite. They aren't flat which makes them so much more practical for snacks that aren't flat (like, you know, pretty much all foods). They seal so easily and so well, but also I am able to open them with one hand when needed. It did take my 9 year old a few days to get the hang of opening them, but the trick is to grip the shorter side of the seal and pull out/down. When you do that they open easily and as soon as my kids got used to that, they have had no issues. I toss these bags in my dishwasher on the upper rack propped open over a few of the pegs and they wash great. I do usually have to hand dry them a bit, but my dishwasher doesn't generally get any soft or plastic-type items fully dry so that's not a fault of the bags. I spent around $60 on these bags and we use them daily. In a few months I'm sure I have already made back my money in what I would have spent using ziplocks once and throwing them out. These bags are so much better for my budget and the earth 💚

**Q: Are these easy for a child to open?**
A: It probably depends on the age of the child. My kids (ages 10 & 11) have no problem opening them. Since the seal is the same color as the rest of the product (unlike a zippered plastic bag) it may not be as intuitive for a younger child that the seal needs to be pulled apart. However, once they are shown how to do it, it should be easy.

**Q: Will the snack size hold deli lunchmeat?**
A: It can hold deli lunch meat, yes! Although we recommend that the Sandwich bag size might be a bit better for storing more than a serving or two, the snack size might be better for taking lunch meat on the go!

**Q: Do you have mon cherry?**
A: No

**Q: Do these have little diagonal slits on the closing mechanism or did I receive a defective product?**
A: no they dont.

I have tried to many reusable snack bags and Stasher ones are absolutely my favorite. They aren't flat which makes them so much more practical for snacks that aren't flat (like, you know, pretty much all foods). They seal so easily and so well, but also I am able to open them with one hand when needed. It did take my 9 year old a few days to get the hang of opening them, but the trick is to grip the shorter side of the seal and pull out/down. Update: the zipper cracked after 3 months of light use, which means it is no longer an air tight seal. BUT the company sent a free replacement when I contacted them. I was very gentle with it, but in order to clean it thoroughly you have to open it wider than usual and I'm guessing this is why it cracked. I am disappointed and thought this would last at least 6 months. Also, don't put any bananas on top of it or your food inside the stasher will taste like bananas. Thing is durable and creates a great airtight seal. It's perfect for snacks, whether messy or dry. To give you an idea of the size (the smaller 4.5 inch), I can fit a medium-sized sliced apple in there perfectly. The only thing I didn't like (other than price) is how easy food can get caught in the ends of the zipper on the inside, but it's not hard to clean at all. Has a clear side and a frosted side. If you are like me and use plastic zip baggies almost every day, this is a great way to save money in the long run and prevent unnecessary waste. Try one!
