[DURABILITY] Full disclosure: we have only taken this bag on one trip at the time of this review, but it held up to the beating it got from the airline, coach bus bag loaders, and my littles who will climb on - and jump off of ANYTHING that can be used as a semi-stable elevated platform. It does not have an internal metal frame; but what it loses in rigidity, it makes up for by having one less failure point. [USABILITY] Man...I really don't want to give this thing a hit, but I can't let one thing go. This bag does not have carry handles on both sides, or the top of the bag. This means you can only lift/carry it in one practical orientation. The wheels are smooth, and the handle is very sturdy - but could have been an inch longer. I am not the tallest person in the world, but I find myself kicking the bad far more often than I do with another comparable bag. Additionally, while I get the idea behind the sinch straps, the execution is...questionable. I don't think they are all that functional as is, but hey, you could probably use them to sinch down a tarp and blanket. Finally, there are some pockets internal to the bag, but I would probably keep those limited to lighter and flatter items to avoid accelerated or excessive wear to the mesh. [BOTTOM LINE] If you just need space for stuff to drag through the airport, this does a really good job at doing that. There is some room for improvement, but a very good and functional bag overall.
