Two Stars
Had to purchase a windows license in order to use the machine...not as advertised

so far a decent mini PC.
I just got this mini pc, and please note my review is sort of preliminary, since I haven't used it much yet. I might upgrade or downgrade the rating with my experiences. Overall it seems like a cool device, I'm optimistic !So far this is what I've discovered:1. The Windows 10 Product Key from the pre-install didn't activate, however after calling Microsoft they allowed the activation. From reading the product booklet that came with the device, it seems like the Product Key is dependent on a previous version of Windows (7, ot 8) to activate. The pre-installed key comes up with "key is already used"2. It seems like a decent unit, although I have not tried the disk expansion module yet which is connected via USB-C connector to the SATA bay.3. There is a mSATA connector on the motherboard inside the main unit, there was a loose screw which fell out during shipping. I plan on trying this memory type to see how well it works.4. seems speedy enough for general use.5. the available disk space is about 18GB with Windows 10 consuming the rest of the 32GB.

Perfect for Streaming
I'm using this as an HTPC. For my needs, it doesn't need to be high powered, so the specs on this are fine for me. I've got it streaming local media from a NAS on the 5 GHz wi-fi band, which is working out great for HD movies. The rest of the time it's streaming content from the internet. So no need for major power. I've only had it for a short time, but so far so good.
