Excellent and exactly what I was looking for. I think the mixed reviews are based on the misunderstanding of what the material is like. It’s a flexible/bendable foam; not rigid. So it’s great for custom use. The sound proofing is as expected. It dampens sound, and is easy work with. Just put it up, so we will see how long the adhesive lasts. In the spot where I used it, there is a vent that has worn other soundproofing prematurely. So if it sticks more than a month then it will outperform more expensive ones we have used in the past. I will update in a month. Slight odor, but not overly offensive. I imagine it will fade. I cannot smell it unless right next to it.

This stuff sticks like barnacles on a sea vessel. Forget trying to reposition it once it touches — you’re tearing it off in little pieces. Didn’t work as I had hoped, however, I think it could in the right situation. Prefer it being super sticky (as it is) to being a half committed loser of a product (like my daughter’s boyfriend).

I used this to put around the motor and part of the piping of my radon mitigation system to suppress the constant annoying hum I could hear in the room closest to it. This stuff did the trick. I can barely hear any sound from the motor now. I will have to wait and see how it lasts, but it did have an immediate effect. The adhesive was very sticky and adhered well to the motor housing and plastic pipes. I did take the precaution of putting on some electrical tape to hold it in place just in case the adhesive starts to loosen. If the material doesn't last, I will update my review, but for now the material couldn't be doing a better job. I would recommend this product and would buy it again if needed.

It shrinks when the paper is removed. On a 61" cut, I lost 2 inches (1" off each side) Then it sticks so well, you can't remove it. Ruined the look of my project. On top of that, I can't get the pieces i touched off if my fingers. Garbage. Don't by it.

This is a quality product and does the job that I intended it for most people use it for soundproofing in a car, but I put it underneath my cornhole boards to take away the thud and dead in the sound so I can play a little later at night. it does just that, just remember to use a roller to secure it tightly in the corners and center.

I bought these to put on the back of my front door in my condo. There are only a few units in my building and most of my neighbors are single adults, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time. And inside the units you barely notice other people live in the same building.. the problem isn’t being bothered by others noises, it’s that the front doors are like an open window to the hallways and as soon as you open and walk in the very front door of our building, you can hear everything if anything is going on inside a units. The sounds travels crystal clear even if you have tv or music playing at a low volume. It broadcasts your words .. so any one in the hallway can hear every bit of your private conversations.. it’s So quite inside the units, it’s easy to forget how easy the noise travels through the hallway, until You’re in the hallway and the neighbor is home just existing and you hear every little sound to remind you. I bought these thinking it would be a great idea to cover my door completely with the pads to block some of the noises from going into the hallway…. Well the 2 rolls weren’t enough to cover the entire door. Had To order another role. Then not even a week later our dog ripped up the entire bottom Half of the padding off… we started putting a Baby gate to keep him away from the front door if we left. Ordered more roll. reapplied more padding…. It doesn’t keep any of the sound inside … I Went downstairs to get the mail And I could hear the tv. I left my phone playing a video and walked back in the hall, completely closed the door and had a door sweep installed… I hear it all. Perfectly.. it didn’t block any of the noise. Not one bit… This whole experiment was a complete waste of money and didn’t help fix my problem.. I wouldn’t buy any more of this for sound proofing purposes.

Does not stick to surfaces that well.

Really functional! I put them on the side of a loud mini fridge a couple months ago, and they seem to be holding strong except for the corner at the top, wanting to lift a little bit! It’s made a significant difference in the level of noise and I don’t worry about the heat of the side against the wall as much.

Its ok, quality is good but cannot really say that it does block noise in the Pipe

1. Quality of the product can not be confirmed as it failed adhesive test just 12 hours after installation. see picture attached. 2. Charged 62 dollars but invoice 54 dollars. 3. Placed order for 13 pieces got 12 Pieces plus a bag I did not order. 4. Amazon CS kept asking for series of questions just to frustrate me more.
