Sufficient for even a much larger monitor
I recently purchased a very large, 32" monitor, but still wanted to be able to use a single arm mount to save as much desktop space as I could. I liked the looks and price of this one, and the specifications said it would support a monitor as large as my new one, so I ordered it.The arm appears to have a good range of motion, although I doubt I'll move it much, if at all now that it is set up. The plastic sleeves below each arm were not terribly easy to thread the cords through, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. The arm went together very easily, and was adjustable enough to prevent my new, giant monitor from dragging it down.Amazon suggested, and I DID order add a metal plate set between the mount base and my glass desktop to protect the glass top. This is , shown in the last two photos. The addition of the metal plate (top and bottom as a set) was simply a precaution to keep from breaking or scratching the large glass top on my adjustable height computer desk. The monitor arm was the PERFECT finishing touch to my new computer workstation!I would recommend this product and purchase it again, if I needed another.

Very Good Value. Good Instructions.
This is a good value and is sturdy. My monitor weight is 12 pounds, well below the maximum for this arm. One aspect is the monitor tilt adjustment is not the best. The tilt is adjustable with a big Allen wrench and must be readjusted if the monitor is moved very much. That said, it is a good value and works well.

It’s strong and solid !!!
I have a 14 or 17 lb 27” monitor on this and it handles it like it’s nothing. It can definitely handle waaay more so I believe the advertise weight range. It’s basically all metal except for the bottom of each length of arm and the caps on the top of the hinges and the flat bottoms are removable plastic for hiding cables and it’s a very solid plastic. The metal arms at nice thick and solid it looks super smooth. The edges of the arm are slightly rounded so it’s not square and clunky .The base is very solid . I used the clamp on because my desk is metal but there is a second base option for drilling and permanently mounting that is also included. The only downsides are#1) there is a fair amount of assembly but all tools needed are included and are not flimsy .Totally get the job done with out feeling like they will bend or break . The directions are of few words but clear pictures and everything is numbered. All the different screws are separated into different numbered bags . So are all the base parts. It looked really daunting at first as there is all the screws and part for two different bases but it was actually quite straight forward and took ten minutes to assemble#2) where the monitor attaches to the arm , you can tilt the monitor to how you like but then it takes an included Allen wrench to tighten the screw and then it’s set. Some lighter duty arms have a knob you can loosen and tighten and re adjust the screen angle as needed .but as this is heavy duty it takes a tool to re adjust the screen angle . Seems prudent tho for keeping a heavy monitor from flopping to a downward angle unexpectedly .But the arm goes up and down and swivels all over into any position you can think of so really there isn’t much need to re angle the screen once you have it set where tou like. The shocks for the arm are also adjustable via Allen wrench .This is a solid item I could see it holding a up to 40 inch wide screen just fine .It is a really good value and very durable. Just be aware it’s got some assembly required for the base.

Does the job as needed
Does the job as needed, easy to install, I use it for an asus 34 inch ultra wide OLED monitor. Easy to adjust as well, holds the advertised weight, can't go wrong with this.

Strong, Smooth, and Space‑Saving—Perfect for Ultrawide Screens
The MOUNTUP Ultrawide Monitor Arm handles large monitors with polish. It supports up to a 40″ screen (6.6–30.9 lbs) and offers full VESA movement—swivel, rotate, tilt, plus 23″ of smooth extension and 21″ of vertical adjustment. What I love:Heavy-Duty Support: Solid clamping (via C‑clamp or grommet) holds ultrawide and curved monitors securely.Effortless Adjustment: The gas-spring arm moves screens fluidly with no sag or drifting—customers report even 32″ monitors stay in place.Desk Space Saver: Raises the monitor off your desk, freeing room underneath—and built-in cable channels keep your setup tidy.Easy Install: Detachable VESA plate and clear instructions made setup quick—ready to use within 15 minutes.Points to consider:If you change displays often, allow time to re-tension the gas spring (usually a quick dial adjustment).Occasional reports of damaged cable clips during installation, but nothing that affects performance. Some ultrawide users mention that the arm hinges may feel slightly loose until tension is calibrated.

Two arm pieces wobble without plastic inserts, but with the s not fit on the base arm at all.
Not enough detail at each step. The arms are wobbly. If I put the plastic inserts on the posts they do not wobble but then I cannot attach the top post to the base post because it does not fit at all. Very disappointing assembly experience as I either cannot assemble it or the top post wobbles and there is metal on metal contact--which will destroy the post that the arm spins around. I bought two of these and need to return them.
