I searched through a wide variety of waterproof rain pants before selecting these. There were much more expensive brand name outdoor outfitter models available, but I wanted something NOT developed for mountain climbers and week long hikers. I chose these because they look very much like regular pants without big logos in awkward spots, and the price was surprising low in comparison. They are meant to fit over regular pants and are sized correctly. I like the velcro expansion at the ankles to fit over shoes, and the gray color is much more attractive than I had anticipated. I have not tested them in a downpour yet, but I feel confident they will perform as needed.

the length was ok but not the waist- i ordered 2 waist sizes up from normal in order to pull on over shorts when fishing and getting caught in the rain in the boat. No go with these I will reorder with next size up in the waist.

These rain pants work well for golf.

I am 6'1" 178 lbs, and size 34/32 fits perfectly over gym shorts. The label on the pants says M/32. They look very good in blue. I use them for pickleball warmup games, and can remove them quickly between games without removing my shoes. I need a zipper cuff for this reason. They are a little noisy (swish) for warmups because they are rain pants, but this is trivial. The pockets are on the small side, and the pocket openings are small and awkward toward the front of the thigh. But I would certainly buy these again.

Just tried on over my size 13 hiking boots and the only issue I see is be cautious of the eyelets on your boots. Really like the fit, two zippered pockets and the zippers and velcro at the legs. Nice stuff bag. Will use them primarily for PNW backpacking and long walks. Awesome $! Hope they hold up. I've got a husky build and normally would go for an XL but went 2X and glad I did. Can't wait to field test them.

These pants do keep you dry and are easy to walk in with waterproof pockets if you’re trying to walk on a flat surface. However I was trying to use these for hiking and I found them not very suitable for that use because they don’t stretch of have much give in the groin or leg area so trying to go up or down an incline is much more difficult than wearing normal pants.
