WELSTIK 50mm X 30.2m Black Matt Cloth Gaffer Tape, Non-Reflective, Easy to Rip

The durability of the tape is awesome, able to hold down multiple cables during parties with its thickness able to handle 3+ fairly thick cables. This left nearly no residue once removed and is a great size for the price, only had the single roll of tape and still haven't used it all yet! I was amazed when it the weather turned and started raining that the tape held up really well once stuck down for a few hours, so 10/10 for waterproofness, although it was light rain. I couldn’t imagine it holding up in heavy storms.

This tape is fantastic, leaves no sticky residue at all, i use this for taping down my xlr cables & extension leads this stuff is a total game changer for me, rips off no problem at all, will be buying more.

As a regular user in the UK, I recently tried out the WELSTIK Thin Gaff Tape 25MM*30.2M Gaffa Tape Matt Cloth Tape in White. I primarily used this tape for various tasks around the house, including securing cables and temporarily fixing small household items. What I really liked about this tape was its thinness, which made it easy to tear and handle. It provided a strong adhesion without leaving any residue behind, which was great. Moreover, the matte finish of the cloth tape gave it a clean and professional look. However, one downside I noticed was that the tape tended to curl at the edges, making it a bit tricky to peel off the roll smoothly at times. Overall, though, considering its reliability and versatility, I found the WELSTIK Thin Gaff Tape to be a valuable addition to my DIY toolkit, offering an affordable and effective solution for everyday tasks.

Unfortunately, I listened to the 5 star reviews and not the one star reviews. I had high hopes from reading the reviews, but am sorry I ordered this tape now. Admittedly it is a fairly strong tape, as in it wont rip or tear, and with this in mind I still didn't have any trouble tearing off strips. The problem is, it just isn't sticky enough. It will attach itself to the item you are putting it on, but the grab is just far too weak. To give you some idea, I accidentally stuck it to a black refuse sack, and it pulled off without even ripping or stretching the sack. You could stick this to some clean ceramic tiles, and I doubt it would still be stuck to them a day later. For the price, I was expecting so much more, and stupidly bought 4 rolls, I wish I had just bought 1 to try it out, and then would of known to avoid it in the future. Hopefully, I will find something that it will actually stick to, and stay stuck to, but if it won't stick to and grab something like a ceramic tile, I'm not holding out much hope!

I love gaffer tape, the king of all tapes. This tape certainly tears and holds like more expensive gaffer tape. I haven't had any issues with residue left behind but then I haven't left the tape in place longer than a day, and not in a hot environment. It holds tightly and it did lift paint off an older painted table which surprised me. If that is an issue then use painters tape. If residue is an issue I would recommend stucco tape. I'd recommend this product and would certainly buy again.

I used these to tape a cord along baseboard and across brick. Good, surprising adhesion in both cases. I have a drawer full of tapes, and these are favorites. You can tear them, but I like to cut it to get it precisely to length. If you hate jumbled, messy cords, these are for you.
