DELICIOUS! I took the chips to work and it was unanimous they are great. The Tikka Masala chips are not only a great baked alternative to boring potato chips. I can't wait to have them at my next party with a raita dip.

tasted good, but are mostly starch
I got these in a Vegan Cuts subscription box. I've previously tried the garlic flavor, and I have to say I like these better. Both taste good, but the garlic ones give you bad breath for about 18 hours afterwards, and these Tikka Masala ones, well, they don't.These are vegan (obviously). They do contain wheat flour, so avoid if you have a wheat allergy, celiac disease, etc. They are processed in a facility that also processes tree nuts, dairy, soy, and eggs. You can see the full ingredients list if you zoom in on the product images.I ate these plain, without any kind of dip or spread, but they are thick and sturdy enough that they could stand up to either. Even though this came in the same box as a large bottle of a beverage, the chips didn't get smashed, so I was happy. (Despite their strength, they do not taste old or stale. Their texture is actually pretty satisfying -- quite similar to a pita chip.) They are a bit larger than bite sized and it may look a little rude if you try to stuff whole ones into your mouth, though. They did not leave a bunch of residue on my fingers and they were not particularly oily, both of which were nice.Nutritionally, these don't have quite as much recommending them. (In the analysis that follows, I am referring to the nutrition in a one ounce serving.) They are relatively low in sugars (only 2 g) but quite high in starch (about 17 grams, much of which will be digested into glucose in your body) and low in fiber (only 2 g). They have more protein than I'd expect at 4 g. Sodium is average for a packaged savory snack, at 10% (230 mg). Fat is pretty low at 2 g. So, these are mostly empty calories, although the flour they are made with must be enriched because there are a lot of B vitamins here. You can see the full nutrition facts panel if you zoom in on the product images.Overall, I did enjoy eating these, but I would've been happier with some whole grains or something to increase the fiber content.
