NOTE: I wrote the following review for glasses that I purchased from 3Dstereo. They have run out of the glasses and other dealers are selling glasses that they represent as the same as these, but another reviewer has said they are fakes, and were shipped from China. Mine are marked with the proper certification and state that they were manufactured by American Paper Optics in Tennessee. They were shipped from within the United States. I don't want my review to be associated with glasses that are not what I purchased. I also paid $8 for 3 pairs, so there is some last minute price gouging going on here.After ordering other glasses twice, and returning them upon reading articles about the only truly certified glasses on the market, I was very pleased to get these. I live in Nashville, and have friends flying in for the eclipse, and obviously I wanted us all to have an unquestionably safe and pleasurable experience.In the process of ordering other glasses and returning them, I learned a few things about foreign dealers on Amazon that are pretty scary. Many of the reviews for the questionable glasses seemed fake, and upon checking the reviewer's record, I saw that they appeared to buy a shocking amount of merchandise on a nearly daily basis, giving everything a 5 star review. I once wrote a good review for an item and was contacted by the manufacturer in China, who offered to cut me great deals if I wrote positive reviews for their other products. This does go on. Other reviews just seemed poorly written by foreign shills.Some reviews, both questionable and otherwise, spoke of testing the glasses by going outside and staring at the sun. Wow! They seemed to work great! I mentioned to a couple of these reviewers that it would be like testing the airbags in your car by running your car at full speed into a utility pole. Please discourage anyone you know from testing questionable glasses by staring at the sun while wearing them!

I really appreciated the quick availability & was happily surprised with the quality for the price. They were perfect for the ring of fire eclipse & I'd definitely order them again.

Worked well. VERY high-priced. Always sad to see a company take advantage of an event. Isn't it enough that a lot of people will want to buy something, thereby allowing the company to make a lot of money, without raising the price to a ridiculous amount?

Arrived in time for me to take camping and watch the annular solar eclipse.. there is another eclipse in 2024, so order yours in time !
