I have ulcerative colitis and use this when I feel a flare coming on. This works beautifully to calm my symptoms. I keep this in my cabinet.

I started with 2 a day and went to 4 daily after a week. I did 2 at night and 2 in the morning, both on an empty stomach. I think it was better than taking nothing but didn't provide significant relief from indigestion, constipation or bloating. The pills are on the big side, which is better than taking more pills, but taken before bedtime require a lot of water to get down, one at a time, so that gets me up more frequently. They did not say why to take them at night or on empty. I took the whole bottle. Guess it was worth a try. I thought it a bit expensive for a 2 week treatment. I wondered if 6 per day would be better and if taking them all way before breakfast would help, but there were not enough pills to experiment. Pretty disappointing, but they worked a little.

I'm not saying this product is ineffective because I've only been taking it for two weeks, but so far, I feel no better. The taste is okay, the pill size is a bit large, and my energy level has been poor (I doubt this is related to this supplement). If you're looking for an immediate fix, then look elsewhere. I would return these if I could because I want to focus on healing my gut with food instead of supplements.
