The "SCRAPESATION" TM (SS) - Operating Instructions 1. The SCRAPESATION can be used before or after cooking. 2. If used before cooking, pre-heat grill 450-500 degrees to ensure grates are hot prior to using SS. 3. Hold your SS with the pointed end on the grill grates at about a 45 degree angle to the grates. Note: Grooves in the SS will improve with each use. Once the grooves begin to form, it is important to keep the SS grooves aligned with the grill grates for each pass over the grill surface. This process ensures customization of your SS specifically to your BBQ grill grates. • Failure to follow these cautions could result in property damage or physical harm. • The SS made of wood, wood is flammable; do not leave SS on hot grill surface or in direct contact with open flame. • When using your SS be careful not to touch hot grill surface with your bare hands, including top of rack if equipped. • Always wear a heat-resistance mitt while using SS. • Do not wear loose sleeves or clothing when using your SS. General Information • The SS is 100% Organic; made of solid red oak. • Can be used in right or left hand. • Custom forming grooves will not harm BBQ grill grate surfaces • With proper care, SS may even out last the last the life of the grill. • Oil at least 1-2 times a month is recommended or as often as needed using mineral oil, butchers block oil, lemon oil, etc... • Wash your SS with soap/water if being used to serve food. • Do not leave SS outdoors, exposed to weather conditions, it could cause your SS to crack/split. • A well maintained SS should last for many years of grilling pleasure.
