Is it worth it YESSSS! It's well made and so easy to use!I watched the Youtube video on it and thought I would give it a try. It is amazing. So simple to use and it save your back and your bass from injury!I would highly recommend this to anyone who owns an upright bass! Spend the money, you will not regret it!

Is a helpful product, but be careful when using it
This has helped a lot when transporting my daughter's 3/4 bass around to practice. We put the bass in its canvas bag, then mount the buggy onto it. The mounting is fairly easy once you get used to it (we use the screw on the endpin to secure the bottom strap of the buggy). I have found the buggy to be a little wobbly at times, and sometimes sensitive to unevenness in the terrain its going over (e.g cracks in concrete, floor transitions). This wobbling has sometimes led to the bass wanting to twist on the buggy, so I make sure I wrap my hand around the neck of the bass and grab the top buggy strap when using it.

Wish I had found this sooner. Fantastic
A fantastic way to transport your bass. Changed my life once I could roll the thing. Why did I wait so long to buy this? Fantastic product. Quick on, quick off. Very stable. I don't use the pad because I thought it was too expensive and figured I would pick up a foam piece cheaply on my own, however, I have found that since I only use this with the bass in its case, the foam isn't needed.

Be sure to adjust the straps before you need to use the Bass Buggie
The Bass Buggie is a very good method of transporting a string bass. The only item that was a problem was the pad that was an add on. The 2 sided tape that is to hold it on the buggie does not last very long at all. The adhesive is not of a high quality. It came loose before my first use. I went to an auto supply store and bought some double sided tape that works great.

A nice light weight bass transporter
A nice light weight bass transporter. After getting it adjusted for my bass (in its bag) it is easy to get on and off. Handles reasonably flat surfaces (sidewalks, streets) just fine. When walking with bass neck over my shoulder, I have to pay attention as it will wander around. The wheels are not big enough for stairs. It takes some muscle and care to get bass up a few steps. I haven't tried the buggie on uneven surfaces as in bluegrass camp.....we'll see but I think it will be OK.

Better than a Bass Wheel
We were looking for a good bass wheel when we saw the youtube video for this Double Bass Buggie, and we decided to give it a try. I can tell you that it is everything they claim and more. This has made transporting our basses almost effortless, and it is so small and light that it will store inside the bag when the bass is being used. Wonderful invention. The only thing I've seen out there that might be better is the Double Trolley from Denmark (but that costs upwards of $400). I would definitely get the matching foam cushion, or if you like to do it yourself, you can fashion a good one using a gardener's kneeling pad and a few strips of velcro (all for around $5). Highly recommended for anyone who is tired of having to carry their bass around.

Made music camp easy!
Wow, why didn't we buy this sooner? Our teen went to camp and we finally made the decision to get this little gadget and it rocked! Super easy for her to put on and take off herself. Rolled over sidewalks and hallways with ease.A couple of notes from the music store were to not use it without the case (we have a soft shell case) to pad the tension on the neck, and to not depend on it as a stand, which makes sense with such a pricey instrument. Let's be real... talking to teen's here. But we suggested it to several other bass parents at the camp!

Smooth and easy to steer!
This thing is easy to use, easy to steer, and has saved my back. The wheels roll smoothly on asphalt, concrete, and brick, though I had some issues with cobblestones. I bought the pad with it.The only gripe I have is that I can't bow the string nearest the buggy while it is strapped on. It is fairly easy to remove and re-install, and you have to do that if you put them on the outside of a gig bag anyway.
