Get prepared naturally
Prepping food and water and safety equipment is one thing, this book teaches you how to prepare a first aid kit/medicine bag to be prepared for health emergencies. The book opens by going over a pretty extenive list of some plants and herbs that should be kept on hand as they are multiuse and common. This is a great place to start building your medicine bag. There are some recipes, and they are divided by the use. There are tonics, salves, balms, lotions, powder/sprays, elixirs, and teas. There are plenty of good directions that explain every step really well. The book closes by going over some treatments for common ailments. So, I can see this book being your go-to reference for emergencies.

A guide for Natural Medicine not so much for a prepper guide
A bit misleading title because it is a intro to natural medicine not so great for a prepper's guide. The book is very detail and very good at explaining on how to make natural medicine but there is a lot of exotics ingredients. I guess they are assuming the prepper will stock pile these items but you could also stock regulars meds would be easier. There is no description on how to store or shelf life of any of these ingredients. In my onion not a very good book for a prepper but an outstanding book if you want an intro to natural medicine.

Natures healing guide
What would you do if a disaster was to happen, and no doctors or pharmacies were available? With the world like it is today you need to buy this book. I enjoyed reading it, it has helped me understand how growing herbs and even things in the wild could help you. This book teaches you how to prepare your first aid kit with herbs, salves and more. I found this book to be so helpful and I would definitely recommend it.

If I had to rely on this book I'd probably die.
After the first read through of this book, I'm definitely going to have to spend a lot of time on Google learning the terminology that the author uses. As a layman, I have no idea what most of these terms mean. There a lot of plants referenced that are not native to North America so in a grid down situation where stores aren't stocked, they would be useless. Its not bad enough to return it, but I will definitely order something else and hope for better.

Not a detailed natural medicine guide
This book is very basic and lacks detailed information. It is in black and white. Color photos of plants would be very helpful. It gives basic info on what ailments certain plants are good for. It is not a natural medicine guide as expected.

Not worth it
Very light on content. No photos for plant identification. Sorry I bought it.

Nature is always a good resource
If disaster strikes and I lose all access to doctors, hospitals or pharmacies, natural medicine may be my family's only chance for survival. Given all that has been going on lately, I decided to buy this book to make me feel more peaceful as well. I really enjoyed it and it made me understand how nature can help me solve many of the problems like healing an infected wound for example, I also learned how to prepare infusions for any burns or how to more simply get rid of a headache. Really helpful and I recommend it.

Repetitive with not enough practical info
It’s ok for an informative guide to which plants you might find locally and a lot (of repeated) info about what ailments they help with. There is limited info on exactly how to make useful lotions and potions (vague amounts, little detail about which precise part of plant, or even any pictures of the plants you’re supposed to find). Also fairly useless for prepping as most recipes would require ingredients to be bought in from a functioning society (strong alcohol, essential oils, coconut oil, etc) so would be finite - “may as well just stockpile drugs” was my take home message. Maybe my expectations are too high. Also a grammar check, spellcheck, and smaller font/book size would probably help.

It's a shame
I believed the content of this book would be good. The cover was attractive and hinted at something I thought would be great. However, it's in large print on an A4 sized book, so it's a bit of an odd presentation. Also, there are some sections that are repeated - Dandelion being one of them - within the same chapter which I thought was odd. The only pictures that are inside are black and white and at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't know what the plant looks like, you have to go elsewhere to find it.Promised much, delivered... well, lets just say it lacked somewhat.
