Shock Doctor Boys Ultra Pro Supporter with Ultra Cup, Grey, Large

This fits my son so well he forgets it's even there. It doesn't restrict movement or slide around/come lose. The pocket the cup goes in is very secure so you know it's not going to move around in the pocket when he moves. The cup is a little more narrow than the previous 3 he's tried which I think contributes to it's comfort level too. My son wears this over his sliding shorts to reduce it moving around even more.

Review 2/27 2021. Hopefully my review will help out a parent of a teenager. I bought this item yesterday and received it today. My 13 yr old son is 5'7 115lbs and a waist of 25. According to the chart I bought the boys small. Although the waist fits the cup is small. I will be returning and getting a larger size. As for performance, I will be updating my review after his athletic season starts.3/1/2021 Update. My son needed a larger size after buying a large..nope..cup too small. I ended up going to the sporting store and got XL waist medium cup. It fits.

The protective cup is soft rubber around the outsode with a hard material riveted in the front. My son did not like the included strap and instead uses his old strap to hpld the cup. It provides great protection. I had to order large as they had a good size cup but the jockstrap was too large foe my son. If they offered a jock strap in his size it would be 5 stars. That said finding a youth jock strap is significantly more difficult than I remember when I was a kid.

Bought a boy’s large size for my 16 yr old son, he said the cup is a bit small. I should have buy him an adult size.
