This germinated in the heat in less than a week. In October it took a month. But it germinated in both the heat and cool.

Did not work at all

I didn't use it right away due to heavy rain, when I did use it I never got grass

I was in total disbelief when I saw the seed growing after 5 days. Watered 2 times a day and it was humid. But I am on third roll due to dog spots and it even grew in an area I was having trouble growing grass. I just watered, raked the dead grass up, I actually added a lil extra of the Black Beauty see and placed the mat on top and watered. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and their heavy traffic grass seed has stood it ground to 2 Shepard dogs and a golden doodle chasing eachother

This is a weak product. As difficult as it was to water many patches twice a day as i was directed by the vendor, the result was total failure. I will say that even though the soil was looosened, some compaction remained.

Am usually really happy with this brands product, as we use multiple types of their seed products on our lawn, but this didn't grow at all. Was just a nasty wet nothing.

The grass took about three weeks to sprout. Prep work involved clearing the patch of earth with a shovel, my hands, and a rake. The seed mat is very easy to use. I had to water frequently with a garden hose yet the results are beautiful. I will buy again.

for the areas the birds and the mice didnt attack and make into nest material the grass did grow but seed and hay works so much better for the price
