These are some of the toughest & most rugged tarps money can buy.The weave is so tight, it looks like one smooth, solid piece of fabric rather than the 16x16 stitch weave of HEAVY DUTY fabric that it is. 16Mils thick makes these come in at 8oz per yard² which = rugged and versatile, without weighing a ton. At least not in dimensions of the pair I got for camping—5'×7'— the exact footprint of my backpacking tent. Also worth mentioning, the grommets are both plentiful & reinforced- I use the 6" length looped ball cords that can be found in any bungee cord section (I got some in the mix of the variety pack of bungee cords I found on here) and so they simply go down through the corner grommet, stretch and drop the ball through the cord like a choke chain or rope setup - then it goes to the tents stakes, stabilizing the tarp from shifting around underneath the tent- and solving the issue of: if I get a bigger ground sheet, the tent stakes won't be able to go in the ground through it; but if i get a smaller one, the heads of the stakes will poke up under the tent- 🤔 hmmm 🤔Lol, I know, what a dilemma! Anyway, the tarps/ground sheets that have the corner strips that run outward with the grommets on the ends are expensive as ]-[ € 11 -- so this was my way to solve the conundrum of the year. Just kidding, I do actually have a lot of real issues to deal with, but comic relief is my go to & writing reviews as long as this for tarps -- I'm procrastinating... btw the color brown - 🤎 not normally the one I would be very wild about in general, but, in this use case, the color is perfect. Oh yeah, the 2nd one is for inside the tent to keep my dog's toenails from ripping the tent floor (even though the tub is very deep and it's 22mils thick, i just prefer the extra protection) plus it doubles as a backup for catastrophic circumstances, unforseen. Such as a twister. Lol Now I have Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in my head, Auntie M Auntie M (that is what she's saying, right? Or? No? Anti-Em Anti-Em! I received the product in great condition. Very nice and thick tarp. I’m very impressed and happy with the product. I highly recommend this product.

Used as replacement carport cover. It's short but I knew it was when I bought it. It worked for what I needed, not their fault it is short. I ordered it that way. Has held up through very windy storms. It's been taken down and put back up a dozen times for possible hurricanes. It's not in direct sun all day, but definitely more than half the day. It's really held up better than I expected. We leave it up year round.It's been in use over 4 years, no stringy shreading, no holes and the grommets have held up well. None torn.Came back here to find something else and am glad to see they still sell them. I'll be buying it again when needed and for other tarp needs.I can highly recommend.

A well-constructed Heavy duty tarp

Good product

I had a tree fall on my garage and had to cover it with the 40x60 tarp pending the repairs. I considered a couple cheap tarps from the big box store but just getting a couple of those would be about the same cost as this one, and still wouldn't be as thick in total.When it arrived, I managed to (almost) unfold it in the yard so I could roll/fold it a certain way to make it easier to pull over the roof, so I had a good chance to inspect it all on the ground. I didn't see any tears and all of the seams were in good shape. The grommets around the perimeter all looked good although I did see an "extra" grommet in there. Might have been one that didn't get crimped in properly and wound up in the package. I didn't see any missing grommets so it definitely wasn't one that popped out in shipping.After finally getting it on the roof (which took 3 people... this is HEAVY), I unrolled it and secured it around the side. It is THICK! Pulling it over the damaged section where I couldn't walk, I was worried it could snag on some damaged sections and tear but even though it kind of got stuck once or twice, I got it all the way over without any incident.I was really impressed by the fact that I pulled it using a rope attached to the middle grommet and I thought for sure it would tear through or something, but that grommet was solid. It was a little bent but still good. Any other cheap tarp would have torn for sure... I have cheap tarps like that for covering wood piles or whatever and they're like tissue paper.I did notice some of the brown coloring was a little scuffed when all was said and done. It's not artwork though, it's meant to be used, and there will be wear and tear, no big deal. When it's no longer needed, I'll fold this up and keep it around because there are still a lot of big trees around and you just never know. So I shouldn't need to buy it again but if I had to, I would, and I recommend it to anyone who has a need for a heavy duty tarp.

Purchased this to use to cover outdoor furniture to keep the cushions dry and it works great. Tarp is very heavy (so a bit stiff.) I wanted something brown in color and this item works well for what I needed it for. I purchased a few bungy cords to help keep the tarp in place when we have wind AND rain. Tarp is holding up well and I'm very happy with my purchase.

These are so much better than the 10$ green crap tarps... I've had one on the shelter and it's already outlasted 2 of the green ones with very little damage. The grommets are still a weak point with high winds, and they are still punctured against sharp edges, also wind issues, but even with a hole or tear they are waaaaaaay stronger than the green ones. If I would have taken more care putting it on the shelter I don't think it would even be damaged yet. Overall pretty solid tarps, just keep in mind they are also quite a bit heavier if you are working by yourself 👍

Using this to cover 32ft frame for temp garage time will tell if it holds up UV test

Really tough and quite perfect. Very fast delivery as well. Fits perfectly over a Hobie TI on a trailer. (pics)

It is exactly as I expected.

Has been out in place over a tent that it pitched from May to Sept in BC. Will see some pretty wild wind and rain. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up. Great so far!
