They are the best. Heavy and don't allow the fridge to dehydrate what is inside. Love them for storing blocks of cheese. They keep the air out. Things stay fresh inside. They wash wonderful, by hand or in dishwasher top shelf. I don't know if I left a review at the time of purchase, but wanted to make sure I gave a review after using them. The closure is tight and easy for my old hands to operate. Having said that, I am kind of smiling here, because they can be a bit hesitant to open once sealed. You just need a good tug and they'll come open. Just testimony, really, about how well they seal. I am elderly and set in my ways, but I like these better than anything on the market you pull out of a box. They are just better and don't need to be thrown away. They are large and can hold a lot of food. However, cleaning them was a bit of a pain. No fault of the bag itself, just a bit difficult to clean the corners. And one of them did develop a hole due to the water being too hot. So washing them and making sure they were clean and sanitized was somewhat problematic.
