The thing works really well with good suction and maneuverability. The "headlight" is bright and functional too. It's easy to clean the bin and the filters with all the release catches easy to find and they latch securely so I've not seen any surprise dust clouds where a latch was not secure or came loose. The big bin snaps out as a contained unit so you can walk it right out to the trash and release it. I really can't say anything bad about it. I think it was a great value!

Overall this vacuum has great suction and is easy to move and is lightweight. The dirt bucket is easy to empty. The LED headlight really lights up the dirt and pet hair. The hose is stiff and doesn't offer alot of stretch. The detachable handle is handy for reaching high spaces. The retractable extension wand is flimsy. When you put pressure on the wand the locking mechanism doesn't keep it locked and it slides back into itself. The turbo spinning brush stops spinning as soon as you roll it across a carpet or fabric surface. Otherwise the vacuum isn't bad for the money.

I have a very large black lab/border collie mix who sheds constantly. Also have a cat who sheds a bit.This vacuum is amazing. I love that I can switch one setting to vacuum my wood flooring and switch again to vacuum an 8x10 area rug in my living room. It was vacuuming the rug that sold me on this - I vacuum it a couple times a week and it’s incredible how much hair and animal dander it pulls from that rug.It’s lightweight but powerful. I like the headlights that let me see into dark corners. The attachments are pretty basic but work well. And it’s easy to empty the canister by pressing a button at the bottom of it.I had considered the Shark at twice the price of this but I honestly don’t think another vacuum would do a better job than this. It’s a steal for the price.

Anyone who says this is a good vacuum, hasn't had a good vacuum. It's so cumbersome, the roller never stops spinning at ALL, if it is eating a cord or ruining a rug, it just keeps beating it to death. I've actually never seen a vacuum that doesn't stop spinning when it's hung up on something. That also means whenever you are trying to use the hose attachment, the roller is still spinning the whole time and the hose is so short that your head is next to it so you better have some earplugs. I also don't have many of the parts, including the ones you should be able to wrap the cord around. This vacuum is so bad it surprises me that anyone in the states sells it, I wish I had returned it sooner, but I was hopeful... I didn't know I could hate a vacuum this much, complete garbage!

We needed something when we moved into a house with nice white shag carpet. This vacuum sure did a good job!

I’ve owned some form of a Dyson vacuum for as long as I could remember, always loved them. However, our most recent cordless pet Dyson was losing its suction and just not doing a very good job, so I decided to give the Eureka a try. All of the positive reviews had to be worth something right?! Well see for yourself…First photo is our Dyson after a quick clean over our very used living room rug. As you can see there’s not a lot going on. There’s some dirt hiding in the back that you can’t see, but clearly lacking proper cleaning power and just not doing a good job.Second photo is the Eureka after a quick first pass over that same rug… 😳Third photo is from a slower more controlled pass. Wow!!We’ve owned the Eureka literally less than 4 hours and I may be officially converted! You really can’t beat the price and the proof is in the dirt!
