I have been using chlorine tabs that have CYA and could not get levels down. This is the solution! It won't bring levels down, but it does not raise them.

I have borderline cya. So I went this route. However I put it in the skimmer yesterday. It’s still in there 24 hours later a slow dissolve is an understatement!!!! So after reading further. It seems like there is an additional skimmer to be added to dissolve this faster. It needs a faster flow rate to dissolve fast. . But regardless of that. The slow rate for me has been keeping the free chlorine and chlorine levels perfect. Regardless. And Cya has been steady to lower. Must use for high cya or just drain the pool and stay on stabilizing tabs 🤷‍♂️ Make a choice

After uploading the comparison photos to this review it seems some of the information may be cropped out, I won't be sure till I post. I have dealt with pools on and off since my early teens making it about 40 years now, and when I purchased this product "I was never so disappointed with a chlorinating tab product as I was with this one". As you might see in other reviews, when these tablets dissolve, they dissolve very quickly comparatively speaking, they leave sort of a blueish foam/scum on the surface of the water as well on surfaces like inside of skimmer, pool, which I can't imagine is good for any filter components etc. I believe the obvious conclusion is the above mentioned is from all these OTHER INGREDIENTS, which as well speaks to other reviews stating the chlorine level never rose to normally expected or appropriately when using these tablets. This is not shocking (no pool pun intended) information when you take into account these are round figures only 70% active ingredients. I hope this review helps persons avoid what I experienced and is helpful.

I didnt read these reviews ....or the label🤦‍♀️🫣 and it did in fact clog my chlorinator super fast.....once problem resolved and I moved them to a floater everything has been great. I love that they are cya free and it's solving 2 issues as my calcium hardness levels were low anyway. I've been using 2 (3inch) tablets /week to maintain correct chlorine levels with testing. This method is currently more affordable than the liquid chlorine I typically use. Very happy with product for now.
