GarageBOSS Clear 1 Quart Reacher Funnel, 1 Pack

I hate to make a mess with oil and fluids in general under the hood of my cars, finding a good fuller in big box stores is a difficult task. I found the Garageboss brand on YouTube and have bought a few funnels and the best drain pan I have even owned. Garageboss products have exceeded my expectations and work very well. This funnel allows me to fill oil, trans and power steering fluids with no overflows or mess. The clear funnel makes judging the amount of liquid an easy task. I would buy this funnel again if needed.

Makes it easy to put in oil without over filling

Good basic funnel. I like it that it is long (no splash outs) and that I can see liquid through it. Does what I need it too when filling the snowblower with gasoline. I'm happy with it and would recommend it.

This is a good handy funnel. The GarageBOSS Clear 1 Quart Funnel is a good one to have around. It is made of the slightly flexible plastic which has much less of a tendency to crack or break. The walls of the funnel are thick enough to be solid in any use. It has a thin tapper so can reach into those narrow areas. If you ever have used a funnel which is too small, you know that it is a pain. Instead of the oil or whatever going where it should, it goes over the top when poured a little too fast. Since this is a one quart funnel, it will hold the whole quart of oil. I also like the fact that it is clear so it's easy to see the liquid moving and know if it is clean when you're done. The funnel has a sturdy tab with a place to hang it up or to insert a wire which could then be attached to something if you need both hands to pour. If you just need one all purpose funnel, I would suggest this one.

I can't tell you how many times I've spilled a fluid of some kind while changing oil or topping off hydraulic fluid, etc, because a number of my machines have fill holes deep down inside the machine or some other nearly inaccessible location. Conventional funnels are always too wide at the top and/or not long enough to reach the fill hole, so I often wind up spilling some fluid that then creates a mess and a smell. This funnel really solves the problem for me, and nicely reaches each of the 3 main problem areas I have to deal with every so often. I like the fact that it is clear, so I can see what is happening. The only problem is that because it is long and narrow, it is not the easiest to clean afterwards. What I have done so far is to let it sit vertically for some while after use to allow as much residual fluid to drip off as possible, then finally poke a few paper towels through it to swab out the rest. I'm really glad I found this!

Ok, it’s a plastic funnel. But it has features that I think make it a valuable addition to my garage maintenance kit. First, it has a long neck. The oil filler for my Porsche is at an odd angle and if you spill oil into the engine bay, you have a difficult cleanup job. Next, the plastic is clear so you can visually check cleanliness - important when adding oil to your engine. I like the curved indents that will hold the neck of the oil filler. This helps ensure a more accurate pour. Cool! Finally, it has a tab to use to hang it up, keeping it off the floor. I would like to have a cap to keep dust out but I stuff a shop rag in and that works well for me. Overall, a good tool for the shade tree mechanic. Low price, lots of features, does a good job for this amateur mechanic. Recommend...
