Unpretentious Whole Dried Carolina Reaper Chiles, 8 Count, Extremely Spicy Chiles, Hot Sauce

Best value on dried reaper pepper, whole dried peppers 25 in a resealable bag. Excellent fruity flavor that really brings the heat.

I may adjust this review next year, if no seeds from the peppers germinate. But then, I may not. I ordered then for the burn, not the bush. And, they delivered! I've seen a few reviews with low ratings because the pods came crushed. Mine were nice, big, whole reaper pods. Delicious, until your taste buds melt off your tongue! They were perfectly ripe, bright "I'm going to make you suffer" red. (An aside: If you Gert a chance to try an unripe, they're also delicious, but only when near ripe, and fresh.) They were fresh/dried. Again, I've seen reviews that talk about a "smoky" taste, and that they must have been smoked. If you eat a fresh reaper, right off the bush, you'll get that same smoky. It's part of the draw of the reaper. Smoky, sweet, heat that I am glad wasn't around when I was a kid (remember when parents put hot sauce or peppers in their kids' mouths, to "let them know what hell is like" or whatever? Yeah, I'm really glad these weren't around!) No mold, no peppers with rot, not off-smells, just the sweet burn of tropical flowers, citrus, a hint of smoky, and military grade pepper spray as you inhale.

I used these to make a an oil infusion. 5 cups of neutral oil (used peanut oil) 3 heads of garlic 3 shallots 52... Yes 52 dried reapers Mince all solids and cook like a normal chili oil (search a recipe) Now this package advertised 25 dried peppers. There were probably triple that in this package. I caution you, Wear a mask when chopping these peppers. Wear one when you are cooking them. Wear one when you open the dishwasher with all the dishes used in the process mid cycle. I wore a mask while processing this chili oil, but not when I opened the dishwasher to throw something in after the cycle started. I effing maced myself. It vaporized the chili oil and maced me. At least my sinuses were clear. Anyway, I will buy these again when I run out. It made some awesome chili oil and crisp!

So good I immediately ordered another pack! These are the real deal. They are so spicy and amazing. Mine arrived today and it was exactly what I needed. I had to get another bag as a gift to my spicy friends.

Little more dehydrated than expected but WOW , extremely hot ,heat hits you instantly. When the dust settle the flavor is amazing
