It's cover is soft and strong. The pages are quality paper and easy to read. In church history the Psalms were the church song and prayer book. Many memorized them in their entirety. They are the Bible in one book and sadly neglected. This book helps bring the Psalms to life.

I love having the individual Psalms. Because I love to make my own commentaries along the margins.

Spurgeon has such a way with words, and this is especially true when dealing with the greatest songs ever written: the Psalms.

I bought these for my daughters for Easter gifts .The written commentary's make it special.They loved it .A little different than most Psalm books.

This is very nice! I got one for Christmas and now I've purchased 3 more as gifts. It's VERY nice and the Spurgeon commentary is in present day language. Be careful with hi-lighter markers as I suspect that the pages might bleed thru the ink, but buy this it's beautifully done.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and I loved it so much I bought one for myself as well. The book itself is so cute with the black cover and gold accents; I love the aesthetic of it on my coffee table. But of course the inside matters the most - and this book is beautifully written and an excellent spiritual guide to the psalms. Would recommend to everyone!
