Mac/Windows Computer required to Setup!
My Chromebook HAS Chrome OS, but NO official ONLYKEY desktop app available to download! How nice! So to use properly I would have to buy an entire computer, or become a programmer. NOT ALL OF US WANT TO BE PROGRAMMERS!!!! The app available was hacked immediately because this is Open-source, WTF???? I don't wan't NFC, so I got this because I wanted simple, on-device security. I have now wasted over a month and over $100 and still have no security! Thank you for nothing. I was so crushed to be sucked into the "Too Good To Be True" promise of this device.

Very small product packing a lot of features !
Delivery overseas was insanely fast. There are a lot of feature, and a lot of possibilities for your security set up.For a basic usage, it is quite fast and intuitive to configure. I appreciate how small it is for a key meant to be left permanently attached to my laptop. The "finger touch" interface works surprisingly well, but could be improved. For Linux, the companion app could be better integrated with the OS for a faster, easier unlocking of the device using pinentry or something...Overall, a complete security solution for a very low price. Not forgetting that this is the only one I found with a backup feature ! I recommend.

USB C adapter will not retain connection even when I do not touch it. So, USB-C adapter is useless.
The base unit works fine. The USB adapter will not retain connection even when I do not touch it. So, USB-C adapter is useless.Substituting an Anker USB A-C adapter and it works like a charm all the time

Brick
Didn't work with any device. Lights are on, but it's a brick. White plastic peeling from using the usb insert. Waited to use it, glad it didn't brick with all my info on it, but can't take it back.

TOTP Requires Companion App
After discovering this device I was hopeful it would support TOTP on its own but unfortunately that is not the case. TOTP requires a companion app to be installed on the PC/Mac for time keeping. This reliance is buried in documentation but it would have been super helpful to be mentioned in the product description. The device seems to work fine otherwise but it does not fit my needs for TOTP.

Wonderful security key
I've been using this key daily on Ubuntu for about 5 months now. The linux version of the configuration software was easy enough to get running. Sometimes the settings don't automatically apply when making changes, and you have to re-apply them. Not sure why this happens, and it's fairly infrequent. My main complaint with this is the BRIGHT LIGHT. The LED on the device cannot be turned off. It can be turned down in brightness through the settings app, but even the lowest brightness is rather high. This problem is increased because it defaults to green (which our eyes are most sensitive to), and there doesn't seem to be a way to change which color it starts on initially.Other than that, it's been a fantastic product. A whole lot of configuration options and the key seems sturdy enough. I hope they release a low-profile USB-C version at some point (like the Yubikey 5C Nano, which I also own).Small warning to laptop users: a problem with these sort of keys (Yubikey suffers from this as well) is that since it's entirely touch-based, it's easy to accidentally activate the key without intending to. I really wish a company would make a key with a tactile activation button.

Device failed at 31 days
Device is no longer recognized by any device. If the LED comes on it's white only, which means it wants firmware. Was able to reflash firmware once, device quit working again within minutes.

Saves time with typing passwords, bit expensive
Easy to configure and use. I wish it were cheaper though.
