This is one of my all time favorite posters. What a treat to find it reproduced on a mouse pad. Vibrant colors, high quality transfer. Grips well on wood or glass. Nothing worse than a mouse pad that slides around during use!One reviewer commented that the yellow background looks "dirty." It's not dirty, it's the antique quality of the image. Also, I never noticed a smell of any kind, good or bad, as some reviewers have experienced.One thing I would point out for the picky perfectionists out there (and I'm one of them), the "8" in "1896" at the top of the pad is slightly cut off at the very tip. A careful swipe with a black pen makes it look perfect. Be careful, don't use a Sharpie marker or anything with the type of ink that flows. The material will suck it up and it will spread out, creating a blotch.

One of the nicest mouse pads I've seen in a long time. Nice thick rubber backing. A good size. The top is a smooth fabric over which the mouse tracks well. The colors of the Chat Noir print are crisp and vibrant. There wasn't any chemical smell on the one I received. Seems to be durably made. It came within days of ordering and was nicely packed. Good value.

Overall, this is a nice mousepad. It's the perfect size to use with my laptop. It arrived in perfect condition and was well packaged (enough to keep it from getting mangled, but not so much as to seem wasteful). I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the colors are a little duller than in the picture; it's not a big deal and it still looks great, it's just more of a beigy-yellow and a dull brick red rather than the bright yellow and red of the picture. It also had a really strong rubber smell - it has since dissipated, but it was pretty strong for the first week or so that I had it and I can still smell it (maybe I've gotten used to it?).

Chat Noir is one of my favorite pieces of art so I love the picture. But since I"m reviewing a mouse pad I suppose this should be more about function than form. As mouse pads go, I give it 5 stars. It's thick and heavy so it stay put on my desk. The surface is smooth and gives just enough drag on the mouse. It seems to be well made and should last a long time. And it's pretty! =^.,.^=

I do love this mouse pad. I do spend a fair amount of time in bed due to a disability so I don't have a flat surface per se, however, if you need this on a flat surface you're getting a fabulous, sturdy mouse pad. It is thick and should stand the test of time. The colors on it are better than on the screen. I absolutely adore it

I like this mouse pad and don't agree with those who think that it's too thin. It is sturdy and it is larger than I anticipated (top to bottom). My only complaint is that the yellow color appears a little dirty. But I love having a touch of art on my desk, rather than boring black!

Nice material, soft surface. It has a bit of weight to it, so it stays in place nicely. Mine had (or maybe developed) a little fraying around one of the corners, but nothing really noticeable.The real appeal is the design. If you want something interesting on your mouse pad this fits the bill. Anyone who sits down at your computer will likely comment.
