Yes, this is the same filter, it just has a different brand name on the label. Both brands (American Plumber and Pentek) are owned by Pentair.

What size are the inlet and outlet nipples?

I really don't know. They fit the filter canister that I bought from my plumber.

I have a model ccf-201 ametek filter system. what filter will be great to replace the cartridges with?

What is the carbon made from? What is the cellulose powder made from?

We use the C1-20 Carbon filter in our ware treatment system for our summer cabin. It is one of 4 filters, plus a UV-Light. I assume the carbon filter is some sort of activated carbon for controlling the taste of the water. Lov2Read
