I make popcorn with it and it works perfectly fine every time.

This thing is MAGIC! I love popcorn but know that the microwave kind is not the healthiest snack. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of an air popper taking up space on my counter (or dragging it out and putting it up over and over again). This is the PERFECT solution. I put in some kernels (there are two fill lines marked on the inside of the bowl so no need to measure first), put on the lid, and pop away! I listen for the popping to stop (usually 2-3 minutes). And just that easy I have perfectly popped popcorn with no oil needed! And I mean perfect. I've used it a dozen times already and never had one burned kernel. And I only usually have 2 or 3 unpopped kernels left. The material is easy to wash and collapsible so it would be easy to store if I didn't use it every day. I use the smaller fill line and get around 4 cups of popped corn but you can use the bigger fill line and make double that. This is officially my favorite kitchen gadget!

Incredibly easy to use, the popcorn popped perfectly. And, to my amazement, there were almost no unpopped kernels at the end. Though...that could have been because I hover at the microwave trying to catch it at just the right time. My popcorn tasted perfect without any plasticy flavor or anything else artificial. I did clean the bowl and lid before my first use, so I would suggest doing that when you get yours. The lid did actually rise as the popcorn popped, the silicone "bowl" held its shape and was easy to rinse out afterward, though the one thing that wasn't super accurate was the measurement lines and how much popcorn they indicated they would give you. The second picture was filled to the second line, the one that was supposed to completely fill the bowl. I'd buy more of this product if I had need of more than one. It's compact, easy to use, clean, and store, and does exactly what it claims it will. Oh, I used only a sprinkle of salt and did not try to pop popcorn with butter or oil, nor did I put any oil or butter on the popped popcorn so while I did say the bowl was easy to clean, it was without the complications of oiliness on the silicone. That may change your cleaning experience.

I love this! We had the glass microwavable popcorn popper, but the glass gets so hot and I was worried my youngest would burn himself on it. This was the perfect replacement! It doesnt burn the popcorn as easily, it doesn't get as hot, you can pop way more popcorn than in the glass one, and it folds up for easy storage. We use it pretty much everyday

This is so perfect for those who are seriously into limiting excess oil from their diet. The directions state to NOT put oil in the bowl prior to cooking popcorn!!! One reason in particular: Oil will make burn marks (or melt marks) in the bowl. The purpose of this bowl is to minimize the amount of oil consumed. There are two levels (inside the bowl) to which you can fill the uncooked popcorn kernels. The lower mark will pop the kernels to fill the bowl halfway. To provide a full bowl of cooked popcorn, you will add enough uncooked kernels only to the upper line! (Trust me, if you fill any higher, the popped kernels will overflow into the microwave). Remember to always put the lid on top of this collapsable bowl BEFORE you cook the kernels! I set my microwave for 5 minutes, and listen for the kernels to slow down to around one pop every 2-3 seconds. (Please Note: Popcorn will burn if it’s not removed from cooking in the correct time frame). Then, I place a dishtowel around the bowl to remove it from the microwave—The bowl will be HOT!!!! After the bowl has been removed, I dump half of the popcorn into a very-large ceramic bowl—and then, spray the popcorn (in the ceramic bowl) with Organic Olive Oil…and then, season it with salt (“or” plain cinnamon, which I love). And then, I dump the rest of the cooked popcorn (from the collapsible bowl) on top of the popcorn (in the ceramic bowl. I then spray the popcorn with the Olive Oil, and then, top it with the seasoning. (I shake the bowl occasionally to distribute the seasoning). I keep mixing and spraying oil until most of the popcorn is seasoned. Please Note: If you don’t spray enough oil on the popped kernels, the seasoning won’t adhere to the popcorn, (it will end up in the bottom of the bowl). To clean the collapsable bowl, I place it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I have purchased this popper several times, to give as Christmas gifts. It is amazing.
