The rope is soft to the touch, without fraying fibres along its length. The ends however WILL fray quickly when cut, so tape over the area you're going to cut and cut through the tape and rope together. It's worth having tape handy when you open the bag too, so you can tape off the ends better than they're taped on arrival. The length supplied was as stated. I can't report on the tensile strength or how it fares outside because I'm using it for decorative purposes indoors. All in all, a good product.

It's proper rope. I used it to decorat a few old pictures i put it around the frame looks great

I've had this for about a few weeks now. It came as expected, with no issues. It's gotten wet before and it has done just fine, but I wouldn't recommend using it in areas where its going to rain much. The ends of the rope also came with some thin material wrapped around it to keep it from getting loose, but it came off and I did have to tape the end instead.Positives:-Good quality, won't wear down over time much-Thick, very soft as advertisedNegatives:-You might have to tape the end yourself (as previously mentioned)-Parts of the rope do get loose over time if you're re-tying knots often.Overall I'd recommend this for some sort of garden work where it's something you aim to only use for a limited time and leave it as is for the rest of the time you have it.

This cotton rope Is very soft easy to craft with easily unraveled though so tape area then cut, excellent rope would buy again

I gave it to my dog but it would be perfect for crafting.
