The equipment has battery backup but need the batteries when we get where were going. The machine is only 2.5 amps the most i would require is 3.5 amps which should be easy for a 700 watt inverter. I tried about 4 different ones and others would overheat because the fan wouldn't stay on. Or other issues. This one works as it is intended to work.It has been used approximately 5 hrs. now no issues. I have an older inverter in my truck that I have had for years and I can't really understand why that old one never has an issue but all the newer models I was trying did? It's a quality issue of course. We used to just use my truck when we needed a 110 source but life changes. The truck is hader to get in and the 110 source is needed most of the time now. The 12 volt won't charge and run some equipment.
