This is the right size wrench for every repair or adjustment you will need to make while out riding, you should also get the Knipex 5” mini Cobra Pliers and a 3 way hex key set for all the other bolts as well. Knipex is very precise and these are adjustable for every bolt on your bike and grip like no other wrench. They are designed for comfort and versatility (you can true disk brake rotors as spokes as well) and will hold anything that fits solidly. They are not cheap, but they are a bargain because of how good they are. I also have the 4” ones, but they are a bit too small for the pouch.

I finally pulled the trigger on the set and then purchased this one days after when the price dropped by $10. This plier is incredibly small and crazy expensive for something so small. BUT ... I like having the whole set and this is a REALLY convenient, portable size. You easily keep this tool in any pocket for use in a million small jobs. I cleaned out my tool box, removing most of my pliers, channel locks and adjustable wrenches because these tools do all three jobs - better. The biggest difference with this design is that when it "locks" into place with that cam mechanism the handles don't want to separate like they do with channel locks under load. It's a really good design. Also, the jaws remain parallel at all times, which is sweet. Finally, there are no teeth to damage the hardware. Are these worth $50? Not unless you must have them and are willing to pay the premium because there is no alternative for this design. I was hesitant to blow more than half of my tool budget for that pay period on four pliers but I'm really glad that I did. The few times that I've used these so far I was very pleased with them.

**Q: The 7" or the 10" which one would be most versatile I only afford one right now that's why I'm asking thanks**
A: I use a 7” everyday as a helicopter mechanic. I use the 10” on a/c lines mostly but also have a ford wrench for that that I prefer. The 10” however is very handy for squeezing aluminum countersunk rivets!

**Q: What's the main difference between the Pliers wrench v. the Cobra pliers?  is one better suited for one type of job v. the other one?**
A: The cobra replaces channel lock pliers. The pliers wrench replaces crescent wrench/open end wrench set. Both are the best of their kind and worth having if you use these kind of tools regularly.

A: This product is manufactured in Germany.

**Q: 1. Is "7-inch" the distance from the nose of the plier to the end of the handle? 2. What's the max jaw opening for a 7" and 10" plier? Thank you!**
A: To what maximum dimension can the jaws be opened? The following YouTube video (Knipex Pliers Wrench) gives information on this. Officially the 12" model opens to a maximum of 2-3/8". However I've measured the opening on mine and it appears to be about 2-1/2 inches.  The 7" model opens to 1-3/8".  The 10 inch PW opens to a maximum of 1-3/4 inch.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUCY9w7Oco0The 7" PW is approximately 7 inches long (actually about 7-1/8") in the fully closed position ... but in the fully open position the length is about 8 inched long.

I’m not sure what I will use these for, but they were just so cute and adorable that I had to buy them. I am already a huge fan of Knipex’ quality so I was pretty sure these would be good as well and I was not disappointed. They are very well made and function flawlessly. Now I just have to figure out how I’m going to use them 😂, but I’m definitely glad I bought them. Two thumbs up and highly recommended.
