I bought this for a teen granddaughter who lives with me and is active in several sports. She reports that the large size of the ice pack makes it useful for strain and injuries on various body parts, including torso, legs, and arms. It stays in place and provides helpful cooling.

Plenty of size for any part of the body. Folds easily and can wrap around target areas and adjacent areas. I use it 4 times a day to treat sciatica in legs, hip, thighs and hamstrings. Works great. Good value.

The stretchy velcro straps allow the ice pack to "hug" the thumb, hand and wrist. Very comfortable. The cold is distributed evenly.

So, there are definitely pluses and minuses for this product. I like the size and they stay cold longer than some of the other gel ice packs I have purchased.The negative side is the fabric cover on one side. I didn't read the product details thoroughly, just the description (with sizes, at the heading, which does not mention the fabric on one side) and a few reviews.The product came with a plastic zip lock style bag, to use in the freezer, I presume to keep the product clean. However this doesn't prevent a fine layer of moisture crystallization from the freezer from building up on the ice packs and causing the fabric to become wet.I see this as a design flaw, which has the potential to cause mold or mildew, with no way to sanitize, as its part of the product.I wish they had just used the strong vinyl material on both sides, which could be wiped down.I use ice packs multiple times a day due to chronic health issues and was hoping these would be a great option for me but after just a few uses, I'm having to stop using them due to the moisture issues.
