Review: removable lid so you can clean the tub without getting the electrics wet - I'm a truck driver, and I've owned several of these types of coolers. What I like about this one is that the lid pulls right off when you Want It to so you can wash the cooler out without having to worry about getting the electricals all wet. if you wanted to you could take the lid and set it on top of a similar size styrofoam chest while you're cleaning the main compartment which adds to the versatility in my opinion. it makes a little louder humming sound Then some that I've owned, but not loud enough to be annoying or a deal-breaker. It's just pretty much nice white noise
Review: Nice size - This is a very solid, well made unit. Have not used the heat yet, but the cooling works great. Rated it at 4 stars because we have had to replace the glass tube fuse twice, not sure if it's blowing because of our outlet or the unit itself.
