Gentler than permanent color and grows out much more naturally
I've been using COLORCHARM Demi Permanent Hair Color for about six months, and I much prefer it to permanent hair color. The biggest difference for me is how much gentler it feels. I notice much less hair shedding during and after coloring, and my scalp doesn't burn or itch either during the application or afterward. I used to have both of those problems with permanent color. The color lasts well enough to get me to my next root touch-up. It fades gradually but definitely doesn't wash out completely - after six months of using it, the color is still visible through the lengths of my hair. It doesn't cover gray hair 100%, which is expected with a demi-permanent color, but that is actually one of the reasons I like it. I wasn't looking for perfectly solid coverage. The slightly uneven coverage creates natural-looking highlights and dimension. Most importantly, as my roots grow out, there isn't that harsh, obvious line between the colored hair and new growth that I used to get with permanent dye. For me, that's a very good trade-off: gentler on my hair and scalp, natural-looking color, and much nicer grow-out.

Toned down red on grown out highlights
Toned down Demi permanent warm brown that showed up red on previously highlighted hair. The original highlights were very light and not brassy at all. Very impressed with the results! It was not super dark and the highlights are still visible with noticeably less red. It’s more caramel now. There’s still some warmth there but it’s 90% toned down from what it was. I used clarifying shampoo to get the majority of red out before using this color (it was light pink/copper color). Will 100% be using it again in the future if the red is still visible after some fading. Photo 1 is before and 2nd is after the cool blonde. Highly recommend if you’re in my situation.

Great for my natural light ash brown hair!
Did exactly what I wanted it to do! I've been growing out previous hair dye for the last year and a half but the ends of my hair have gotten brassier and brassier. My natural hair color is a light ash brown so I wanted to try something affordable that could tone the brassiness out of my hair and so I landed on the 7A toner "medium cool blonde" rather than buying really expensive brunette brass toner hair masks (which were $15-$20+). This worked great at toning the brassiness out of my hair, I think I still have a touch of brassiness but it's still wayyyy less than the before. I will attach a picture showing the before and after, you can clearly see the huge difference!! I went with color 7A bcause after seeing reviews and watching TikTok videos, it seems like these wella colors run a bit darker than what they're marketed as. I couldn't imagine using 7A as a natural or bleached blonde😅

Not bad
Nothing wrong with product. The color seemed to be a shade darker on me.

Natural and affordable!
I use this product to blend my grey, I usually use an ash and a neutral color 1:1. I add volume 15 because of my stubborn greys, I purchase two separate volumizers and measure it out until I get what I’m looking for. It’s so natural no one ever believes I dye my hair (and I rarely share I do..until now! ..lol) and I love that I don’t get a dark harsh demarcation grow out line. My hair is not dry like with permanent hair color. I can usually go about 3 weeks before I have to color again. Highly recommended!! ( I mix 6N with 7A)

Love the result
Great gray coverage and after watching a ton of TikTok videos I knew how to expect the color to turn out. I love it. Great formula, the scent is pleasant, it was easy to apply and has even coverage.

Why did I wait so long?
Been using permanent and temporary boxed dye for so long. Tried gray transitioning, but just not ready. This stuff is great. Less mess, less smell, easier on the hair, and the coverage is much better than you get with the boxed stuff, in my opinion. I like that I can make as much or as little as I need with the developer. Ditch the boxed dye. You won't be sorry.

Very dark and too much red undertone
Left Before. Right - after on the photo. Mix 7A and 9MB. 1:1 ratio. 10% developer I give 3 stars only for the fact its demi permanent. Very unpredictable color. Goes at least 2 levels darker. Plus 6N, 7N have very strong red undertone. Which i wouldn't expect from neutral brown. On the photo I used mix of 7A and 9 MB. Proportion 1:1. And it still very dark. If I would go level 7 it would be level 5 dark. I use this brand for about an year and see that it has lots of room for approvment.

Exactly what I was looking for – a light brown, not a blonde!
I bought the Wella Color Charm in 6N after reading the reviews saying it wasn’t really blonde, but more of a light brown — and that’s exactly what I was looking for! I didn’t want a blonde, but a soft, natural light brown, and this product delivered perfectly. The color is gentle, not too dark, very natural, and it covered my white hairs well. The application was easy, the smell wasn’t too strong, and my hair felt soft and looked shiny after coloring. I’m really happy with the result. If you’re looking for a light brown and don’t want something too blonde, this is a great choice!

A good product
Don't let 'blonde' fool you. This is more of a brown, not dark if you don't leave it on long, but a brown nonetheless. I buy the demi of this line as it isn't as harsh as permanent colour. Have bought this multiple times now along with the volume 10. Recommend.

Gloss and shine
Adds lustre to the hair, perfect for that gloss if you need and fills the hair pigment making it softer
