Lightweight
I've only played a few times, but this racket is great. I am a small person with small wrists and hands and perfect for me. Great value and pretty racket.

Good quality for a good price
I’ve only used this paddle once, so I’ll update this review if anything changes as I continue playing with it.The first thing I liked when I took it out of the package was the comfort of the grip. They did mention this in their description and I would agree with them on the comfort and handling I have of the paddle. I sweat a lot when I play and the handle didn’t get slippery or tacky as I have experienced with some other paddles I have used. The dimensions of the paddle head is just right for me. I’m 5’6” and pretty athletic. I found the length of the paddle head to be great to gauge if a ball was going out if lobbed over my head, meaning I wouldn’t accidentally touch the ball because the head was too long as I extended the paddle overhead. Yet, it was long enough for me to reach those tough outside shots or dinks over the net even when running full speed. The surface area of the head provided a great sweet spot and the textured surface is great for ball control. I was very surprised how easy it was to curve the ball when hitting a slice or top spin. The responsiveness of the paddle was excellent for dink shots. Now for the weight of the paddle. This would be my only area of caution if you need a light weight paddle and/or want the weight in the handle and not the head. The paddle is a little on the heavier side compared to some of the others I’ve used. As you can see in the picture attached, the weight of the paddle comes to 10.05 oz which is about two ounces heavier than described by the manufacturer. The weight is in the head which as you can see in the last two pictures of the balance point. Now with all this being said, I’ve grown up playing tennis with Wilson rackets which are also top heavy and I liked this paddle because it gave me the same feel as my tennis rackets. In addition to that, having the top heavier and me being a more powerful hitter, allowed me to feel that I could swing this paddle the same was as a tennis racket and not overpower my shots. The absorption of the head kept my shots in even when hitting lobs.So overall a great racket for all levels of players. I also received emails from the owners letting me know that if I was to experience any problems, that they would make sure it would be replaced or repaired on them. I like that guaranty as a consumer and feel confident that I’m getting a quality product.

Good Paddle and Good Fit for Most People
Just got this paddle and have played only two games with it. Overall, I consider it a great buy. Here are a few details which may differ slightly from the older Upstreet paddles. The most important difference is that the weight is 7.7 ounces (not 8.6 ounces) which I have verified on two different accurate scales. This puts the paddle solidly in the middle weight class.Second, the width of the paddle is just under 8 inches (not 8.5 inches). Total length is 15.9 inches. The grip length is about 4.6" which is plenty long enough for my big hands. However, the grip circumference is about 4.4 inches which is too slim for my big hands, but should be about right for average size hands. I plan to put a grip wrap on it to build up the circumference.Overall, the paddle balances well, appears to be well made, and looks good. Although the paddle I selected was named Orange Tree, the picture on the paddle is not that of an orange Tree. It's a Palm tree. You can't fool us Florida guys. :)

Upped my street cred from 1 to 10
This paddle is my go to when I want to win. It has improved my game from really really really good to really really really really good. Plus when I use this paddle and pair it with my gold shirt, no one even wants to challenge me due to intimidation alone. In all honesty I do love these paddles and glad they came out with more Bling options. I haven’t lost a game with this paddle yet, but I have to admit I’ve only played against my pregnant wife. 5 stars all around.

This is a good, durable all around paddle with an excellent warranty
Graphite Pickleball Paddle by Upstreet (Yellow) | PP Honeycomb Composite Core | Neoprene Racket Cover I bought mine on June 10, 2017 and most weeks I play 4 days a week. I like to slam overheads and generally hit the ball hard unless dinking. Have had zero problems but even if I do, the warranty will still be good until next summer. I see that overall, this racket has 97% positive ratings and only 3% negative ones which for the number of paddles sold seems like a really good satisfaction rate. With any kind of mass produced product, there will always be some manufacturing defects and the small number of unhappy customers mostly seem to have ignored that fact. If I buy a different paddle it will probably be to experiment with a different shaped paddle, heavier paddle, and to have a back up for when I finally wear this one out (if ever). I would have to try other paddles to compare with this one before I rated it 5 stars and that is the only reason I have not given it 5 stars. I have seen several players have problems with more expensive paddles, but have not seen anyone have problems with one of these.

Comparison is the thief of joy...
I'm very new to the sport so take this review with a grain of salt... I recently played pickleball for the first time at a local club. The paddle I rented to play with was a Selkirk 20P. I instantly fell in love with the sport so I took to Amazon to get myself some starter gear. This is the paddle I decided to go with. Unfortunately, I think the Selkirk ruined me for lesser paddles. The difference between this paddle and that paddle is night and day. Almost feels like playing a different game altogether. So I'm returning this one and ponying up for a Selkirk. I do want to state that this paddle may, in all reality, be a great value. But it's definitely not the same as a premium paddle. I will say that it feels very sturdy, the grip has a great texture, and the neoprene case it comes in is very nice. I also want to mention that Upstreet's customer service is lightning fast with responses and very helpful when I reached out to them with questions. So if you've never played and don't have a baseline standard to go by, this may be great for you. It's definitely WAY better than a wooden paddle.

Great that the cover is included in the
New to pickle ball and didn't want to spend a fortune on a paddle. This paddle is ok but as I improve would probably want a lighter version. Great that the cover is included in the price

There are now a number of beginners who have this paddle so I have now put my name on mine.I have also added a grip to increase the diameter of the handle and to increase the tack.Excellent value for money!
