Easy repair
Easy to install! I recommend using some Vaseline or some type of petroleum jelly to hold the valves in place. I actually used vapo rub cause that’s what I could find but it worked great and installation was reversal of removal. Can’t beat the price!! I had a 21 gallon central pneumatic compressor

Builds up tank faster
Got this for my pancake compressor that I have been using for a plasma cutter. I added a 5 gallon tank inline. I have used it more in 20 days than it was probably intended to ever be used without any issues.

**UPDATED** JUNK! didn't even last a year.
Below is my original review when I was happy that these fixed my compressor. Bought these on 12-26-2022. Well today on 12-4-2023, I fire up my compressor and go figure it's doing the same thing last time it broke a reed valve. So I already know without taking it apart that one or both of these valves are now junk. I barely ever run this compressor except for occasional house projects or airing up tires. I will look elsewhere for replacements. My 21 gallon harbor freight compressor stopped producing enough pressure to close the cold start valve randomly one day, so all the compressed air was leaking out of the valve and was keeping the compressor from building up pressure. I first replaced the cold start valve thinking it was faulty, but ended up with the same result. I went ahead and took the head off and low and behold, one of the reed valves was broken in half. Bought this kit and replaced the valves and I'm back in business. My compressor that costs me $150 about 6 or 7 years ago now costs $250 so I really didnt want to replace it if I didnt have to. Make sure to dab a little grease on each end of the reed valves to keep them in place during assembly, especially the one that fits on the head.
