I bought this clock because my new job has a long commute & I'm not remotely a morning person. Multiple snoozes or alarms for 5:30 were just NOT working - until I got this honey of a clock. 30 minutes before you wake up, it turns on with a red glow & slowly changes to orange, then yellow, like sunrise. The result? I WAKE UP! And not only am I awake, I am alert & feel refreshed. I am consistently amazed by how well this clock wakes me up, gently, and with gentle music too. No more angrily fumbling for my phone in the dark while my nervous system has me shaking or smashing a buzzing, beeping little monster. This has to be one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life. Total game-changer. It saved my job, and my mood! Thank you to the makers of this wonderful clock!

I am very glad I purchased this wake up light but not the expensive ones. It does everything for me, I don't know what else 100 more dollars would do. It works as promised. Light is bright enough to peacefully wake you. Since the summer ended, I was having trouble waking up before sunrise, but now I am fully awake thanks to this light. One of the best parts is that you can completely turn of all the lights on it during the night, so it won't disturb you. Not even a tiny light, completely invisible at dark. You can also turn of the alarm sounds and only wake up to the light. It's awesome.

Cons: Even when I set the alarm for AM, once I check it, it always says PM. However, it DOES wake me up on time in the morning. Something is faulty there. I purchased a second one for my children and the same glitch is there. AM alarm switches display to PM yet still wakes at AM set time. Pros: Everything else! I love this alarm clock. Let me count the ways: 1) The slowly illuminating disc light is a wonderful way to wake up. After only a handful of days, I am able to wake up before the sounds even go off! A visual awaking doesn't jolt my body like a sharp sound. It really is very soothing. And I can set the illumination intensity. 2) The wake up sounds. A decent variety to choose from; birds, ocean, musical notes, traditional blaring ringing. They increase in volume, slowly. And you can set the volume level of the alarm. The sound never has to get horribly loud. Perfect! 3) The fall-asleep feature. Choose your sounds and length of time the dim light is on and you're set! Turn this feature on as a soothing 30, 60, or 90 minute way to fall asleep with gentle sounds and a dim light that turns off after your designated time. 4) Sound choice! I love the ocean waves and seagulls chirping and the night time crickets. 5) Light colors & illumination levels. True to the product description and pictures. 6) The clock is dimmable! And also you have the option to turn it off completely but the alarm will still illuminate and sound in the morning. Win win! I only use this alarm clock plugged in. I have not tried to use batteries.

Td:lr- the clock works well, most days I don’t need to use the sound, it’s easy to work and does it’s job. I personally have radio issues tho, so it doesn’t play any stations So I recently got this clock for Christmas, I tend to struggle slightly with waking up in the dark, especially in winter. So when I got this clock I thought “wow, wonder if this will work?” And I can say, it definitely does! The setting up wasn’t to hard and I had fun looking through the options. The colors that the light uses is very pleasant and nice, and the white light is yellow toned so it feels very much like day light when it goes off in the morning. I’ve only been using the clock for maybe a week, but it’s really nice! It’s sleek and just the right size for me, roughy that of a medium salad bowl I’d say. I wake up feeling awake, I don’t really feel like rolling over and going back to bed, since the light it helping regulate my sleep rhythm I believe. Features I enjoy personally: The clock has different colors that make it feel very cozy when I want The night light+ sound feature helps a lot on settling my mind The buttons are easy to identify and use. Things that haven’t worked for me as much, but are still nice: The FM radio, I like the idea of the feature, I just think that the intent doesn’t work quite right, at least not in my room. But that’s really not what I went for in this clock. The display of the time is a cool toned light so that can be sorta unpleasant when I settle in for bed, luckily that display can be turned off and it usual turns on on it’s own. Overall, nice clock, it’s helped me a lot, 5/5 would recommend

We love this alarm clock! It makes it feel like the sun is rising, only at whatever time you want it to rise. The "sunrise" starts 30 minutes before the alarm goes off, we didn't realize that, but we like it, and it gradually gets brighter. You can adjust the intensity of the light, which is also a plus, so if you only need some light, or you need full on white light, you can have either! Then, when the alarm goes off, you have multiple sound options to choose from, the sound starts out low and gets louder as well. I purchased this for my collegebound child, this will "turn the lights on" for her before she has to get out of bed.

It works...sometimes. It was easier than I thought to setup. Initially, it worked well. The interval between the alarm starting and at full brightness is good. It's bright enough and loud enough, but I started noticing in the first couple of weeks that the alarm wasn't going off. (I bought this for my son) I'd check the alarm thinking we forgot to set it, but it was set. At first, it was once every other week or so. Over the next few months, I noticed this issue increase to it happening a couple times a week. This obviously defeats the purpose of an alarm clock. It drove me crazy thinking we either forgot to set the alarm or my son was getting up as soon as it goes off and turning it off before the volume was loud enough to hear. After trying to fix the issue unsuccessfully, I decided to watch the clock right before it was set to go off... and it didn't go off. It did nothing. And it was set! For the correct time! The last straw was when it starting flashing red in the middle of the night. That was creepy. Anyway, It's been 4 months now, so we can't return it. I can only inform others to be aware of potential issues. I will say, a feature I found when troubleshooting the issues of the gas-lighting alarm clock is that the clock kept the time and alarm settings after being unplugged and plugged back in ( no batteries). Whatever kind of sorcery that was, it saved me the hassle of setting it up again.

I needed this to get through winter and it's amazing how the body responds to the light. It starts dimly 30 minutes before the alarm and almost every time I'm waking up naturally a few minutes before the alarm. It makes waking up feel like you're easing into your day. I love the clock light feature to turn it off completely. I personally like everything dark but you can set it to be dimmer or bright based on your preference and makes a good night light too. You can access local radio and use this as your alarm sound or use one of the several preset sounds like birds, oceans, rain, etc. There isn't a connection for Bluetooth which for the price point makes sense. Overall, highly effective, helps get rid of the mid winter blues, has battery operation if the electricity goes out, and worth its value.

I’m returning this but not because it doesn’t work. The clock has a nice aesthetic, the adjustable brightness is a great feature, it’s not bad quality, doesn’t feel like it’ll fall over, and the sounds are very relaxing. I think it’s trying to do too many things. It’s not intuitive at all. I’m usually able to figure out clocks easily but I was clinging to the instructions even to set the time. I managed to set an alarm and brightness but I don’t think I could do it again without the instructions. It’s just difficult to set anything. The buttons are trying too hard to be sleek that they’re just vague. For the price I’d expect something a little more basic and easy to use - it’s like it’s too complicated for its own good. I expect to be able to sleepily press one button to turn off an alarm but I somehow disabled all the alarms and turned the clock brightness all the way down. How?? This could be way better and it stinks that it’s really not.

Durch das Licht in Kombination mit Geräuschen wie Bachlauf oder Vogelstimmen, alternativ auch Musik von einem Radiosender, kommt man viel stressfreier aus dem Schlaf. Ist viel besser als das Übliche piepen, summen und sonst was von normalen Weckern oder Handys. Ich liebe es, so viel entspannter in den Tag, macht Spaß.

I love the peace of mind knowing I will awaken slowly and gradually from now on. This has changed the way I welcome my day. I like the different sounds you can program for the alarm. Nice. The different variations of light are a fun feature as you can dial this light right in. I usually wake up 20 minutes or sooner before the alarm goes off. When the alarm goes off though you know it's going to be a sound you like, at a volume you desire. Happy sleeps!
