They do the job they were designed for.
They are power extension cables for indoor use. Just plug them in and they work. The wire coating is not thicker for outdoor use and the connections are not waterproof in any way. These are not weather proof, and have nothing to do "Night Vision". Not sure Amazon asks to rate these two areas. Amazon needs better AI here.

GREAT ADAPTER
Installed a security system and needed these to ensure I wouldn't need to create more outlets around the house. Being able to just use these extension cords, made it easier to install. Will update my review if they don't last as long as expected.

Just long enough
Perfect for what I needed. Had IR lights for my camera system... Needed to extend their power cords. These were perfect for the job

Excellent method to get the power to the camera and back with a shorter power run. I had a camera that quit going into the infrared night mode due, I suspected being caused by the long cable run back to the dvr. This was cheap method to verify the hunch and resolve the problem by getting the power to the camera in a shorter run from another power plug to the camera..

Perfect for extending power to cameras on the far end of the house.

Works as Intended
These worked perfectly for extending the power on my security cameras. Everything seems well insulated and there have been no issues. One connection point is outdoors under an eve, so I'd recommend wrapping in electrical tape as insurance. I would purchase them again if needed.
