Is it just my luck, or,...?
Wrote a previous review, but it hasn't been added yet, so I can't edit it. This second review will have to do.First bow arrived bent. Sighting down the bow (4/4) from the frog, the last 4-5 inches at the tip took a left turn that had the tip off center .75"-1". Returned for refund.Second bow arrived and it had the same problem....except worse. This second bow started being warped about one third of the distance from the frog...and this warp was combo, a slight warp to the right, then another left turn that put the tip at least 1" out. Both bows were examined loose and tightened, and no, I did not over-tighten the bow. Decades ago I played cello in school, so this ain't my first rodeo. There seems to be zero quality control and when a product is this defective and the listing says the product is "suitable for professional use", well, something somewhere is..........sub-optimal. Second return only allowed for refund, so I'm trying a 1/2 from another seller. Going for a smaller one because I will be using it on electric guitar a la Jimmy Page. Both seemed to be taking a heck of a lot of rosin, but that could just be my memory of how to do things.Best part of the product was the shipping. Rocket fast, but like others have said, it comes as a bow-in-a-box. No packing materiel, just a 6" x 6" x36" box with the bow loose inside.Give it a shot if you're feeling lucky, but even though I was willing to let the seller go for 3 strikes, the seller only allowed 2 strikes, so,,,,,they're out on 2 strikes. Not at all recommended.

Works fine, but isnt great.
Not great quality, but for $20 it does the job. Its very bouncy and difficult to control. I think this has to do with how far I had to wind the frog to tighten the bow hairs to a useable amount. The bow is longer than a standard bow and I believe also more curved on the middle, which is part of why the tension needed to be higher to keep the hairs off the wood of the bow. I'm not sure what the point of the extra length is. It is probablt 1-2 inches longer than my other full size bow and barely fits in my case. Its a bit on the heavy side as well. If you just need a bow to practice with get you through, it will work. If you want to play in an orchestra or a concert, I recommend spending a bit more money.
