Best foundation ever. Applied correctly (an even, thin layer using a foundation brush) this foundation looks flawless, natural, covers imperfections and lasts ALL DAY. I have very oily skin and the wrong makeup will just slide off my skin within hours. This stuff really lasts and lasts but does not look heavy or overdone. I love this so much, I even used it for my wedding after being extremely unhappy with a trial with a professional makeup artist who used "professional" products on my face.My skin has only broken out when I've accidentally fallen asleep with my makeup on, and even then it's not a crazy breakout.They have a huge selection of colors, but since it's so cheap, I normally have 2 or 3 colors on hand to mix my own shade based on how pale or suntanned I am at that moment.I like using a primer with foundation because in my head I feel it acts as a barrier.... and it seems to look a little better. I used to use Smashbox Photofinish light Primer, but that's just a waste of money. I now use Rimmel's Fix and Perfect Pro, which works just as good and is a fraction of the price. But that is ALL I use with this foundation. Primer, Colorstay foundation, and that's it. I don't use anything to set it. It's that awesome.Before discovering this gem of a foundation at my local drugstore, I dabbled in some of the more expensive department store and Sephora foundations and spent A LOT of money for disappointing results. Once I discovered Colorstay (using Makeup Alley's reviews) in 2009 I have never looked back. If you're reading this review and have never tried it, I encourage you to try it out for yourself. If you're very unsure about which shade to get, I would recommend you purchase a shade that is your skin tone, maybe a little lighter, and one that is darker so you can formulate your own perfect custom shade.

This Revolon Color Stay #250 foundation has all great attributes. It is better then most. At best it ''STAYS ON AND DOES NOT RUB OFF EASILY''. It does not streak and maintains a matt look. The finger pump is easy to push, product is controlled, and does not get contaminated. It glides on skin easy with a sponge or finger is best. It is a noticeable dark beige/tan color for skin and dark spot and line cover-up on this white caucasian skin. It moisturizes less since for oily skin and a pre moisturizer not required. Has a slight very clean scent. Good for summer months. In summers bright light it shows color more noticeable. Hence next lighter shade #240 is preferred for less light and winter. SPF maybe a plus but tends to feel heavier and not really required. After 8 hours of weather and wear, it tends to keep dry and less heavy but washes off easily with mild cleanser. Color sticks to eyewear frame. Reasonable price. Used first time.

I've always heard of Revlon before but never really tried it. It's rather expensive in my country, it's marketed as a "department store/high-end" product despite it truly being a drugstore foundation in most western countries. I saw one of my co-workers use it before and I decided to try it. I was sold. I live in a tropical country where it's always hot, humid and I have a tendency to sweat immensely due to genetics and being exposed to constant scorching weather. Oh, I forgot to mention, I have oily skin. Foundations, regardless of their formulation, don't tend well to oily, let alone sweaty skin. No matter how good my foundation or primer was, I would sweat everything off and my naturally sebaceous skin will assist in removing any base I've applied in less than ten minutes. Revlon Colorstay Makeup is one of the best foundations out there, hands down. It was over 38C (100F) outside, as usual after applying my makeup, I began to sweat tremendously. I kept dabbing the sweat off, worried that my foundation would adhere onto my handkerchief but it never did. My hair was a mess and I looked like I just went through purgatory and back but my makeup still looked flawless. I get lots of compliments when I use this foundation. Also, a little goes a long way. You can choose between light, medium and heavy/full coverage depending on your method of application. I've used many foundations but this one just blew me away. The results are flawless. I highly recommend it to anyone who has oily skin, tend to sweat a lot or live in humid climates but want to use a foundation that lasts for a long time and still looks flawless.
