Is this dark or will ambient light shine through it?

I have mine almost against a wall, and if I walk behind it, can see a light from the office through it but not so bright that it distracts when I’m working. My screen is about 3’ from my wall and like I said, the light isn’t that noticeable. I store all of my gear behind the screen and haven’t had any lightning issues.

I have the green screen - it’s just thin material - so you should be able to.

Does this black backdrop have a pocket at the top to put a pole through?

Yes, it does, However I find it easier to just drape the top over the pole and clamp it in place. That allows you to adjust the length so that you don't have alot of material resting on the floor (especially if you are using a height that is less than 8 feet).

Yes,you can iron it,just don't have the iron on too hot. A bit of steam and medium temp. Will take the creases out without melting it.
